Holy gooseberry fool!

One eye-catching addition is dead, grinning and naked infants that have no lips and sealed eyes. They'll dash at and pounce on Clarke, stabbing mercilessly at him with long claws. Another humanoid enemy literally spills his guts, which will infectiously slop towards Clarke.

Or there's a tentacled man who's gullet hangs from his mouth like an enormous tongue. He'll attempt to lasso Clarke and bring him close. But our favourite new addition are Stalkers: speedy pack hunters that will try to trick Clarke and out-flank him or lure him into a trap.

Sounds amaze.

Also liking the news about the game taking place during the the opening stages of the infection, will be great to see entire areas helplessly fighting against the Necs. :D

And space station? That will shut up those people who complained about the lack of variety in DS1.

OFF TOPIC: I never thought I would see that Fur TV sex tape again! Was involved in that in my old job, and still login to the official Mervin Minky MySpace profile.

I'm looking forward to 10+ enemies chasing me, shooting out a window and watching as all the necro sumbitches are blown into space.

Looking great but I don't like how they girlied his suit up. Where's my working class hero now! :(

I think he probably just realised that trying to run away from snarling beasties that want to eat his face is much easier with a suit that isn't the weight of an eighteen-wheeler.

The fact that you couldn't just leg it like a banana split made for some intense play though... low on ammo, dude running at you, trying to lug yourself round the corner to an ammo box you just spotted... :shifty:

If he's gonna be balleting(sp?) about in his nancy suit I'll not be best pleased.

Playing through the original for the first time at the moment. It's repetitive as hell but strawberry float me if the atmosphere and gameplay doesn't make up for it. Great game.

Just read about this in Edge, it sounds like a strawberry floating abomination.

Action
Cutscenes
Issac has a face and talks
Complete overhaul in setting
The suit looks like something out of a sci-fi film
MULTIPLAYER

It's like they took everything I actually did like about the original and then shat on it :|

Also what strawberry floating pussies were too scared to play Dead Space, it wasn't strawberry floating scary at all, it was jumpy in places for about the first 2 hours.

Despite all that gooseberry fool the preview did remind me of what I loved about the first game and gave me to go back and play it again, for about the 4th time.

He had a face in the first game. Personally, I'm fed up of these faceless jerks. They need to inject a bit of character into these guys.

I odn't have a problem with any of these changes really.

I'd have to agree with Herbi. I did love everything about Dead Space but the very mention of ramping up the action surely means that the atmosphere created in the first game will be sacrificed somewhat.

The setting and the cutscenes seem like the biggest blows.

I know you caps this for fail but... I'm actually quite intrigued by it now :shifty:

In the XBW preview the lead designer said you'd be 'dismembering your friends' which leads me to summize they've taken multiplayer inspiration from the best sci-fi multiplayer mode ever from AvP2 in which the game started as humans vs one alien, and as the alien player got kills they became aliens.

That applied to Necromorphs would be fricking sweet, crawling around the ducts, jumping out on unsuspecting humans, chomping on their faces.

Also my issue with the suit is it's like something out a bloody anime, seriously, Isaac looks like a retarded Gundam.

It worries me that the developers might be listening to those idiots.
