Partially.

The story is really quite funny in places.

Everything else is pretty rubbish. Just did the hospital combat section and it was quite drawn out and rubbish.

And if I hear "Time To Dieeeeee!" in that gormless tone once more I might just smash my controller in half. Much better on Easy though - far less tedious.

The game is definitely more about its quirky style and oddness, its surprising and different, really refreshing to see in a game now, it just plays gooseberry fool. That said I wasn't a massive fan of the way the story ended up, but good game though.

But they're saying "I don't want to die". I felt a pang of guilt every time I heard it.

I always thought they were saying "don't want to die". Seemed odd though when the silly twats were trying to kill me! What exactly did they expect?

I'll be honest I actually thought the enemies moans and sounds were kinda scary, certainly not pleasant.

Oh, that's what they're saying?

Well that changes things. I sometimes run past them but I'm going to make sure I kill everyone of the annoyances I can.

Been shooting them until now but I might start bludgeoning them to death instead.

edit: I am getting royally trolled by this game's map. What possible reason could I have for wanting to zoom in closer than it already is?

Lumber mill - worst QTE in any game ever?

Someone please tell me why I should keep playing this thing? I can hold out a bit longer but at the moment I really don't see the point.

I'm waiting for rinks to tell me it gets better after this.

Otherwise, this is a bad game made by idiots who I hate.

Trust me, stop playing now. The further you go into it, the more you'll regret not chucking the piece of gooseberry fool in the bin already. It's awful throughout. There's a bit later on where you literally are stuck inside the town hall until you talk to every single one of the characters about inanae crap and it goes on forever. And yes, the combat is strawberry floating woeful. Hideous game.

Deadly Premonition being remastered for PS3, with Move support

Immediately after ex-Marvelous CEO (and new Toybox Games founder) Yasuhiro Wada let slip news of a new Deadly Premonition PS3 project at GDC, he met with Joystiq for an interview and clarified just what it is. And it's not a sequel.

Deadly Premonition is being "remastered" and updated for PS3, by a team headed by Swery65, working in concert with the two-man Toybox studio. The new version, which will be further detailed at E3, will include new content, including new "scenarios" -- and support for the PlayStation Move. We're sure the whole thing will make much more sense with motion controls.

Yea, I always thought it was a remarkably effective piece of scripting for making you feel genuinely unsure and uncomfortable with proceedings.

Hmm, I'll be keeping eye on this to see if they've added something new other than motion controls :)

Been toying with the idea of getting the 360 version for ages. May finally get this if we see a UK PS3 release.

Yes?

Why not get it cheap? Move support wouldn't seem worth waiting and a higher price?

By the sound of things, this could include a number of new additions. It's being developed as a director's cut. Remember the PS3 version is out there in English in Hong Kong. So it's not that they were trying to get translation done.
