My problem with that test footage was that the other people in the clip were so lifeless, it looked really low budget and lazy. Also, CRINGE but I guess that's Deadpool.

I love that clip every time I see it :wub:

I hope that the full movie is just as good.

Reynolds is locked into the film again. I'm quite happy with that, and hoping that they can move him into the X-Verse they've been talking about trying to build. He seems genuinely involved in the whole thing as well, and really seems to want the part, which I think is important.

2oth Century Fox has made test deals with a small group of actresses for the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool -

I think the test footage looks very promising, the dialogue and soundtrack seem good, wouldn't even mind it being a more polished looking CGI film. The PG13 is a concern, almost every superhero film would be better suited to being a 15/18 rated film and only being PG13 if it doesn't compromise the story as opposed to just widening the appeal.

TJ Miller has been brought in too, almost certainly as Weasel. Baccarin could be playing Mercedes Wilson, from the original run? Or maybe Copycat. Wonder if they'll shove T-Ray in there... :slol:

That's brilliant, Ryan Reynolds is a perfect fit for Deadpool and he is a great actor. He has been in some crappy safe films at times but he has also been in some good ones and they he seems to be mixing it up a bit more over the last few years.

Jesus his costume isn't all black leather. Is this real life?

I have high hopes for this. Hopefully it pays off for them as it would be nice for Hollywood to make more low budget quirky films instead of the same huge budget with CGI explosions gooseberry fool over and over.
