Just got back from seeing this. Bar one or two gags it was solidly funny from start to finish with plenty of not so subtle references to itself and other movies and actors.

Wasn't expecting to see Bob, so it was a pleasant surprise when he popped up towards the end.

Great to see Deadpool on the big screen. :wub:

Just got back from seeing this now. Really enjoyed it. Had me laughing a lot more than I was expecting to and made me listen too Careless Whisper on the walk home.

I read online while the credits were rolling there's supposed to be two end credit scenes but there was definitely only one that I saw. Anyone see anything different?

I guess you could say there was two. Deadpool appears in his bathrobe and talks, the screen goes black, then he reappears. Kera Knightly as Cable in Deadpool 2! :lol:

This was so much fun :mrgreen:

I've loved the character from what little media I've come across him in, and this was everything I wanted based on that. I was surprised how grisly it got at times, but there's usually a great zinger around the corner so it doesn't go too far.

Strange. The cinema I was in went black for about a minute before I left. Didn't see the second reveal.

Edit: if you have a girlfriend / wife & only go to see one movie this Valentine's Day, take them to see this.

That was great! A little of the humour fell flat (mostly the 4th wall stuff) but overall it was really enjoyable. Morena Baccarin is unfairly beautiful.

That was a stupid strawberry floating movie... And I loved it. It was exactly the sort of Deadpool film I wanted to see. That zamboni :lol:

I thought the fourth wall stuff was actually done really well, definitely better than I was expecting it to be.

Might be seeing this on Monday. A few people in my new office are seeing it at the weekend so I want to be able to join in the coversation. But also, it just seems like a really funny popcorn flick.

Excellent film,got big laughs and most jokes hit perfectly. Pacing was perfect too.

Loved the action, comedy, romance and it even makes sex scenes work. Very good film indeed and it deserves to have success.

A strong 9/10 for me as I want to go see it again and buy tons of deadpool stuff.

I was reading predictions of $75 million for the opening weekend. Certainly not bad for a budget of $58 million.
Glad to hear that Fox greenlit the sequel before the film even launched as well. Rumour I heard was that they greenlit it immediately after it was screened to the execs.

It's looking more like $100m now, which would be an incredible result. It's three-day opening weekend numbers could top Guardians of the Galaxy and Winter Soldier too
