It could feasibly introduce Cable or even feature Deadpool. I'd be a hell of a lot more excited about an R Rated Wolverine film, put it that way. That said I did quite enjoy The Wolverine.

I'm not surprised that some people are shocked by the content, I really can't quite believe its a 15.

When I was young Die Hard was an 18, obviously its been re-rated since, but clearly Deadpool is a lot more violent, with more nudity and sex and a lot more swearing.

I just got back from seeing it. Laughed all the way through, now that's how you make a proper comic book movie!

I imagine the tone of the movie has a lot to do with the rating.

Saw this tonight. Thought it was good, but not totally amazing and one of the best comic book films ever like people are making it out to be.

Surprised they got away with using a helicarrier.

I believe marvel are still involved to an extent on the creative side of things as consultants for the fox films so I wouldn't put it past marvel to have been aware of the helicarrier and have said it was ok.

I can see Fox coming to an agreement for Deadpool to be allowed into the MCU in return for merchandise profits and the retaining of his solo movie rights. It'd certainly make sense from a character perspective, though he'd obviously need to be toned down.

Did anyone else have people overly laughing in their screen? The film was excellent and funny but some people were just overly laughing at every opportunity. I've noticed on a few film boards that a lot of people are saying the same.

Maybe the film was actually gooseberry fool and they were pumping laughing gas into the room.

Not a chance. Fox isn't going to relinquish any sort of control over it's biggest hit and there's no reason for Marvel to make cross-studio deals just to get the rights to Deadpool. They have enough going for them

There' wasn't anything like that at my screening. It was funny but I didn't think there was a lot of proper belly laugh moments.

Oh and I totally think they should just do a Deadpool & X-Force film for the sequel.

Fox own a large proportion of merchandise rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four and their characters. It's why Marvel doesn't release anything with them on their clothing etc if they can help it.
