Crumbs

I mean after reading this:

"I haven't talked much about that, but it was such a difficult time because he was going through a lot last year," Keighley says. He was shocked when he found out – just days before the show – that Konami wasn't going to allow Kojima to attend, and he felt he had to say something, despite the company being a sponsor. "The fact that he finished that game (MGSV) under those circumstances is just amazing. He was locked in a separate room on a different floor than his development team for the final six months of development. He couldn't even talk to them – he had to talk through someone else. That's how that game was finished."

He's not wrong. :dread:

Kojima, Del Toro, Reedus and Mikkelsen. Not sure about the weird Resident Evil War setting, but with those guys and maybe other big names yet to be announced, it's sure to be a great scenery chew-a-thon.

That trailer was utterly dull.

Monika and Mark Cerny have confirmed that this runs on the Horizon Zero Dawn engine or, 'Decima' engine.

Little bit more than that.

The two teams are sharing the same codebase, any updates either of the teams do will feed back. Part of Kojima Productions will now be based with Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam.

So, are the studios in a symbiotic relationship, then?

Looks weird as hell but I like it. I'd be pretty confident in any Kojima studio nailing the feel of the gameplay, even though I found MGS V got fairly tedious that was more to do with the story than the gameplay itself which I had a hell of a lot of fun with. I'm hoping this is more linear, but without MGS4 levels of cut-scenes.

Apparently, if you play the first and latest trailers side by side, the baby disappearing in first/appearing in second are synced. Or something.

Maybe I'm just being hopelessly optimistic but this should make for overall better games as the engine is being worked on by more people but then again I have no idea if that's how this sort of thing works and if just chucking more people at an engine will improve it.
I really hope it is thew case though as I'm looking forward to Horizon.

Kojima's trailers and teasers are as important as the games themselves. I love it :)

Turns out this only works if edits are made to one of the trailers. There's no syncing if trailers are in original form.

Not all info in the video is correct (original trailer wasn't running on Decima), but I can see Joosten being involved in this regardless of that fact:

Game isn't at E3, but getting a soapy handjob from Geoff Keighley on the Wednesday of E3?

Uh-huh. Sure, Hideo. Sure.
