Just as intriguing as before but, it's not just me that thought the character's faces looked a little...off was it? The textures were wrong somehow, too washed out, and the animations on Reedus looked like temp work.

Still, another brilliantly mental trailer.

Alvin Flummux wrote:Seems like there's a time travel element to this game, judging by the new trailer, and eating the weird bug somehow protects against it.

Of course, that makes perfect sense.

Seems like the gameplay is early on, Sam has a day job salvaging whatevers in the boxes. He then gets swept up in the greater story.

My main concern is that they've not shown combat, it's there in the trailers, but people seeing this for the first time might be put off if they think it's not there.

If anyone was wondering who the female actress was...

Shows how impressive the facial graphics are that I recognised her instantly.

Game looks weird as anything though, can't get a handle on if it even looks fun or not.

Im getting the sense this is going to be quite simplistic gameplay wise. Survival seems to be a big factor, if anyone’s expecting something akin to MGS (a vibe of which has certainly been given off in some trailers) I think they’re going to be disappointed.

Piecing everything that’s been said together I think you can get a pretty good vibe of what the game is going to be like.

I've seen quite a few comments around the web suggesting that there "needs to be more action"... "where's the combat?". I'm hoping that there isn't any kind of Last of Us / Tomb Raider-style violent action. I see this game as being obscure, adventurous and slower-paced... at least, I hope it will be!

I want the game to be odd with the goal of discovery and piecing things together.

I too want to see a bit of conflict. Whether that involves those zombie soldiers from the first trailer or something else entirely, I feel that would give us a much clearer idea than pure stealth.

And although I reckon it's the most technically impressive game of the show, Ghost of Tsushima is the most beautiful.

Well the dude in the trailer did pull out a rifle of some description when he was at the top of the hill looking down over some sort of base, so there'll definitely be some combat in this. If it uses the same combat mechanics from MGSV then it'll be just fine, that gooseberry fool is peerless.

Latest footage has me finally interested. Just hope its actually interesting to play and not a game I wished was just a bloody movie instead.

I hope this game goes the XCOM route in the sense that progression is about gaining resources to allow research and development for better equipment etc.

Like a continuation of the project research element of MGSV but less linear and more difficult/ambiguous. I can see myself trekking about all day long looking for some material to make better waterproofs or saving up money from deliveries to buy more carrier droids!

Seems to be about testing different backpacks. Maybe a DofE simulation?

To be fair a game about testing the durability of backpacks and then having to do Gadget Show style reviews would be pretty good.

This bag fell apart in the middle of the jungle and I was forced to kill and eat the sound man so sorry for the sound quality in the second half of this review.
