Been looking forward to this, i'm pretty sure the jousting was impossible to win at though, not once did either me or my brother ever succeed in it.

Any idea what the next game will be? If you do another Dizzy game, how about Fast Food? Loved the soundtrack on that game (amiga version), insanely catchy.

I also remember all the fuss surrounding the CDTV, and my brother moaning about how expensive it all was.

I had an Amiga 500 I loved a lot, my Older brother had a cdtv he knocked a can of coke in to my Amiga and then gave me the CDTV as a replacment... I threw it out about 10 years ago because it just stopped working in every way possible, CD drive stopped reading discs the machine lost the ability to output sound but now I kind of regret throwing it... I still have my CDTV copy of Lemmings and Defender of the crown.

The next game I do will proberbly be a spectrum title for the simple reason they record a lot easier, im in the process of getting the laptop im on now to work right , the last one bit the dust, fortunatly most of the work for Defender of the Crown was done and so I just had to piece it togther on this one.

If I struggle I might go back to doing the odd SNES one as there really easy as its basically taking my old 150 snes reviews and using them as a script to work from, If it ever gets to the two or three week point and I dont have something out then ill bang a quick SNES one out just so I am doing something.

One thing i was wondering regarding the amiga, at one time there was a mag where almost the entire contents were on the cover discs themselves, and the actual magazine was little more than a sleeve with a handful of pages, any idea what it was (assuming you remember it)? It was around during 1990/91 i think.

Many of the computer mags turned into "leaflets for holding disks" around that time, Vermi'. There were lots of popular Amiga mags, including Amiga Format, Amiga Power, Amiga Action, The One Amiga, Amiga Force, CU Amiga... great times! I suspect that your memory relates to Amiga Action... I do recall that they often had three disks plastered on the cover :-) .

They were certainly intresting times and Yeah I too think that it was Amiga Action, towards the end there was a lot of Amiga mags offering a lot on disc and it all started to feel a bit like the old spectrum cover tape wars.

I have started work on my latest Video and its a Nintendo Property its Super Punch Out, Basically a quick look at the arcade game and then the NES and then a better look at the snes proberbly with a mention of the wii version at the end.... so far a lot of time has gone in and we have the first 2 minutes in what can best be called a video draft format

Ok cheers, my brother was the one buying the mags, but i do remember him getting Amiga Action, along with Amiga Format, and CU Amiga.

CU Amiga once produced a disc featuring Super Off Road and Pang demos, my little kid self became obsessed with the Off Road demo, along with the disc intro which featured lots of horizontal stripes reacting to the music. I think the disc might also have featured the A90 tech demo, though i can't be sure if it was that specific disc or not.

I found the A90 tech demo on YouTube not too long ago actually, see here...
