3 bosses down now 8-)

First boss down, strawberry float trying to kill the dragon on the bridge in 1-2 with the Soul Spear (I'll be there all week!). Might buy some arrows and then beat it down that way as the timings on the bridges are rather annoying.

And the dogs down below are rather infuriating too. :cry:

Still, all told, I'm very much enjoying this game, I got that bloke with the sword (near the Red Knight) down to 25% by abusing some quality AI loopholes (and the Soul Spell), picked up that beast of a sword, but nowhere near strong enough to wield it yet. Where do I upgrade my stats in this game? Or is there an NPC I should be visiting to do that? (As there's no bonfires).

Although, I think Demon's is generally harder.

I find the difficult sections in each game are like opposites. In Demon's I found the levels hard but the bosses pretty easy and in Dark I find the bosses hard and the levels pretty easy.

Tower Knight and Armoured Spider bosses down 8-)

That Thief ring proved its worth on the spider boss, when I took it off it could see me by the fog, the ring bought me 50% more distance, enough for my soul arrow spamming to work :twisted:

Upgraded my strength so can carry my steel shield and that kickass sword from 1-1.

With 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3 down, what's the next best area to attempt?

Killed the 2-2 boss with some quality AI abuse at the top of the stairs :slol:

50,000 sounds allowed me to level up quite nicely. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1 and 2-2 now beat. Anyone got anywhere else they think is a good shout?

3-1 is a pretty good level. You can rescue Sage Freke who gives you access to some of the better spells including some of the boss soul spells and you can buy a ring from a vendor for 50,000 souls that increases the souls you get from enemies by 20%.

I found the best way to play Demon's Souls was to do 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, 1-2 etc. Based on the difficulty of each level that seemed to be the best order to play them in. Although I seem to remember 4-2 being a massive chore to play and I had to summon a phantom. That was easily the hardest level in the game for me and the closest I ever came to giving up.

Been playing this more this week. Taken down all of the Demons on the 1st tier and most on the 2nd now. Two more then I start on tier 3.

I summoned an amazing white demon who took the time to show me ALL of the cool hidden items in the level 4-1, then went on to waste the boss for me in under 5 seconds! :slol:

A ranked him on the spot, shame I couldn't message him personally and thank him. We also got invaded and when the black demon saw both of us, he started running away! :lol:

He didn't last long against my online friend... :nod:

Really enjoying Demon Souls (and Dark Souls), would absolutely love a third entry to the series. This came out of nowhere for me too :wub:

Going to attempt 3-2 & 5-2 tonight then that is all of tier 2 completed

Is there 4 tiers per area?
