I'd say there was a bit too much largely pointless busy work in it like feeding all the animals and catching all the fish.

I found it extremely boring back in the day, I'll probably get it in a sale though.

I remember raging very hard at the Orochi fight. Turned out I was being a complete idiot (I wasn't ink brush slashing in the right direction). That's my main memory of the game

It has its issues, but I loved it. I hope they have the song at the end of this one. I don't think it was in the Wiimaster.

Only interested if I can use motion controls/touch screen for the brush. Everything else would be a step back. Lovely game that went on too long for me. Its not really that much of a Zelda game tbh. It doesn't really have puzzles or dungeons in the way Zelda does. Darksiders is much closer to a Zelda game.

I remember thinking the same thing about the PS3 version (didn't realise it was caused by colours bleeding) and, going by the trailer, this latest version suffers from it as well.

Also ive tried playing this game at high resolutions via the PCSX2 PS2 emulator, and the PS3 version on RPCSX PS3 emulator. Im not sure if this is just something that was unnoticable at the lower resolution on the PS2 or just bugged emulation but the colours inside everything bleed out through the black outlines of every object or character, which makes a horrible blurry look to everything.

Wii version has this, but then that's expected given the crap resolution. I don't remember it being so heavy on the PS2 version though.

Damn, i really hoped it was just bugged emulation. I dont think i can play this so, it was really distracting

Trailer is on other page if you haven't seen it. Maybe it's fine and I'm just being overly picky...

I still have my PS2 copy kicking about and while I wouldn't go as far as to say I found it extremely boring it didn't grab me quite as much as I thought it might. Some brilliant ideas, but nope, try as I might I just couldn't get into it.

The start of this game is terrible, seriously awful. The story takes ages to tell and I can tell it in one sentence:
8 head dragon wants a sacrifice of a girl from a village, girls boyfriend attacks dragon and a wolf shows up and helps kill the dragon, boyfriend brings wolf back to village then 100 years later the dragons back.

This story takes 10minutes of slow text appearing on screen requiring a button push every sentence. It's very very poor. Then you meet the insect guy who never shuts up, after controlling the wolf for about 30seconds of play time the first save clocked in at 17mins...17minutes of reading and 30seconds of play. Then it goes on, multiple collectibles are explained ad infinitum with reams of text again requiring a button push. Things needed to be brought in gradually cos right now its a clusterf**k of collecting fruit to save places and fruit to add to food pouch, feed for a feed pouch (I sh*t you not) respect from things and people, and legendary stuff plus other crap and this is all crammed into the first 45minutes. I'll persevere but I maintain like I did back in the day that it has the worst opening for qame I've ever seen.
