Destiny 2: The Witch Queen out now

I'm not very knowledgable about Destiny, but this video makes the upgrade from D1 to D2 seem pretty neat.

So basically, the weather's worse and there are more fires?

I achieved the same result by moving from the Midlands to the North East.

I haven't played the strike yet as I'm waiting to play it with a group from here but the story mission was quite good.
I think the lack of grenades will hopefully just be because we have gooseberry fool gear and are only level 20 and the gunplay was solid as ever.

As ever with Destiny though the fun factor will be massively enhanced by who on here buys this as our group was always fun so if they turn up again even a disappointing Destiny 2 game will be worth joining.

I echo pretty much everything that's been said really: gunplay remains the best in the business but it really does feel like an expansion rather than a sequel. Pop the story mission into D1 and it wouldn't be amiss.

Shame to see people are down on this.

It's firmly on my 'not sure' list at the moment. I loved Destiny but there are so many great games I could spend my time with rather than playing a strike for the 20th time. The gunplay is just so damn good though.

I might pass on this too

It still has so many problems from the first game, especially the multiplayer

It's amazing that a 4 Vs 4 game makes you somehow feel like you have less impact on the result of the match than a 6 Vs 6 game does.

For me the only reason to get this is the group we have so if they don't bother then that's it for me as well.
I'm not bothered about missing out on the solo experience and the PVP still sends me round the flipin bend so yeah, while it will be slightly sad this franchise lives and dies by the people it brings with it.
Hopefully if people are missing this they will go onto Anthem and we can see how that works out.

Aye I'm sure we have got enough players and we all went through from Destiny to Rise of Iron so I'm going to continue with my Titan guardian for the new adventure! :datass:

Finally got a quick play on this last night. Liked it a lot. Fits like a glove: great gameplay, stunning graphics and atmosphere, nonsensical plot.

I like what they've done with the weapons. I felt it far more natural in the frantic sections to switch to a second primary weapon. Handgun, handgun, handgun - strawberry float, no ammo, autorifle dagga dagga dagga...

I'm almost certainly in.
