NF done - fair play to those that did it earlier and at lower level that was hard

285 Mida and 290 Strang from quests!

Managed to hit Level 11 today, Power at around 110ish I think.
Really enjoying things so far, much prefer the Adventure system to the beacons of the first game.

Just unlocked Io so that's my destination for tomorrow.

Why are Sidearms even a thing? They weren't very good in D1 and the introduction of SMGs just makes them seem pointless in this. Can count on one hand the amount of times I've used a grenade launcher too, no idea why they decided to remove heavy machine guns for them.

I'm not ready for the Raid, but I should be by this weekend if I can.

I'm almost reaching Light 230.

I stopped with Destiny before TTK so I don't know if things changed there, but it seems a lot easier to get Legendary and Exotic stuff in this one. I finished the campaign last night and am already Light level 236 - I've got 2 Exotic weapons, 9 Legendary weapons, 3 Exotic armours and 5 Legendary armours and I still have loads left open to do that look to offer good rewards. Vanilla Destiny was too much of a grind but this one almost seems too generous with its rewards.

Ric, fade and I are doing the nightfall and we've never done the strike before and the waypoints are zero help as we just got completely lost and ended up in a lost sector.

When you go outside you have to go up the ramp inside the big ship.

Done now and finished with about 15 seconds to spare.

272 light now.

Just finished the campaign. I'm all aboard the destiny train, this is so much better than vanilla it's impressive.

I got a 281 Crown of Tempests which is great and a 276 Showrunner machine gun which is a flaming pile of shite.

Got a nice 290 version but am I missing something or is it complete bobbins?

I'm game, won't be able to until a bit later though. I also need a to do the final stage of the Drang/relics of the golden age if anyone else is on it.

Drang is such an awesome weapon, just melts in the crucible. Really want to see how it pairs with Sturm.

I'm just getting to the end of the Sturm exotic quest and I only want it because I think it's highly likely it's named after Sturm Brightblade from the AD&D Dragonlance series. I don't care if it's gooseberry fool and the sidearm that goes with it is pretty neat and my main secondary.
