I know it's highly unlikely but I'd be interested to see if they can do anything with VR for Destiny 2. Even if it's just a spectator mode.

Multiplayer will have the same FPS across all systems, no unfair Pro advantage.

Hmm, they have a fair bit of work to do to win me back. I kind of loved the setting, adored the gameplay and the atmosphere but it felt devoid of a story and character. Almost like they deliberately stripped a lot out to push the DLC. Some of the bosses were just absolute garbage too, really embarrassing for Bungee given some of the set pieces they did in Halo.

So I'd personally like to see a little less of the MMO shite and definitely no locking away content like the raids which were made pretty inaccessible.

My biggest gaming disappointment of this gen was getting up early to Raid with the GR crew...and my internet going down. Was inconsolable.

Game have preorders up which include a doll if thats your thing. PC version is cheaper, natch, but not entirely sure what the differentation between the versions is.

Im not paying £200+ for a video game unless it makes it disgustingly clear to the other players that I have the superior version.

As most would have guessed i've pre-ordered this on PS4, i have an ok PC but i like the PS4 group we had going and i can move my ps4 easily between my upstairs game/office room and downstairs tv if needed. Hopefully we might be able to get a good bunch again playing when Destiny 2 comes out. I'm still playing Destiny on and off when i have the time. Ordered myself the limited edition box one with cayde 6 figure, I don't go for these types of thing normally but love Destiny so thought what the hell.

I have a feeling most if not all the old crew will be back as it was just such a relaxed and nice group.
We didn't worry about people playing perfectly (or me getting lost every 5 minutes :shifty: ) and just had a laugh and that's what will draw me back in more than the actual game if I'm honest.

I think that's probably why I didn't get into Destiny; I was really bad at it and I didn't want to join up with people and them to get annoyed about how rubbish I was :shifty: .

I'm thinking about giving it another go - just to learn the basic movements and controls - so that I could be a bit better for when Destiny 2 arrives.

Same here, i'm not hardcore enough to be grumpy about people messing up,i just like having a laugh, i certainly don't have the time to be hardcore about it all anyway. It will be good to get the old group back on for destiny 2. Right now i'm doing the age of triumph stuff when i have a chance but Zelda and my little boy are consuming the rest of the time, by September i'll have more time freed up so can't wait. I'm also intrigued around the clan side of things and i hope they expand on that and also grouping with others even for raids. It would be good if there was something more within the game than relying on apps and websites.

Mate don't worry i raided only every now and then due to time constraints and every time i went back i kept forgetting all the mechanics  i had to rely on so many people on here because of my crap memory so it was pretty relaxed with how we played, there was often a lot of pissing about especially when waiting for all those warlocks to make the vault of glass jump  .

Trust me if they can handle my incompetence you'll be fine.
I play FPS games and I'm gooseberry fool at the shooting bit :fp: .

You're always welcome.

I'm the best at the jumping puzzles. Just ask anyone who played with me.
The phrase "awe inspiring!" doesn't get used often but it's been said more than once.

I've pre-ordered the digital collectors edition. Hoping to run with this group more than I did with vanilla Destiny.

Happy memories of my first runs through VoG and Crota with folks on here, but typically lttp when there is a rush to be "raid ready".

Going through AoT stuff again after taking 3 or so months off from Destiny. Turns out there are other games too! Enjoying the final lap and looking forward to D2.

I liked the first one in the beginning but the loot distribution was gooseberry fool (especially in the crucible) and levelling up was a real pain after level 20. I binned it before the first DLC. If they've fixed that id be interested.

Thanks, chaps. I think what I'll do is load up Destiny 1 sometime and ease into how things work. I'll then have a bit of time to "learn the basics" ahead of you and other GRcadians being ready to roll once Destiny 2 arrives.

Yep levelling and all the loot was fixed ages ago. It's still a loot shooter and there are levelling parts to weaponry and armour etc but the way you gained loot and the amount you get was upped massively. It changed quite a bit over the last couple of years.

I am looking forward to join the group who did most of the Raids with me and had been patience with my ability. I'd love to carry on with the group if you welcome me to join for Destiny 2. :D

I always found your lack of faith in your own ability rather odd as you we're always one of the best players in our group. I can't remember you ever being one of the strugglers.
