Honestly I can’t remember what exactly I got as they gave us a quite lot of loots. I know I’ve got a new emblem, an aura glow and a couple of legendary weapons.

I must admit I'm not as excited about the dlc as I thought I'd be. I'll give it a go as I have the season pass but I don't have much faith that it will radically change anything or fix the problem of tokens being used as loot which really isn't appealing.
The new public event only giving tokens as loot means I don't really care how many chests they give me it's still not going to be enticing.

On the stream Deej was going on about the new event as being the most rewarding public event ever!!!11 just as the chest gave a two tokens and a blue.

Move over Christmas, all our hopes and dreams are now being fulfilled by Destiny 2.
This game has the same problem it has since launch in that yes it's fun for the first little while but it has none of the staying power of Destiny 1 and there's zero chance it will have if they don't fix it. I'll play this for a few weeks with the guys on here but I think I'm done doing anything solo apart from the story which I'll do once.

Hi guys. I've been levelling up whenever I have the time and have finally dragged my sorry ass up to level 284.
The clan engrams have been a huge help, BTW, so thanks for that.
I've still never done a Nightfall or even attempted the Raid - my mates have kinda deserted me a little, mainly owing to my inability to be on regularly.
So here I am, cap in hand, wondering if, and when, people would be able to maybe do the Raid? I think I need to be dragged through it by better (sympathetic) players a bit.
When are you guys usually playing and are you ever short of a player at all?

TDLR: There's a hidden diminishing returns mechanice, and the the UI regularly lies to you about how much XP you're earning. Pretty much any activity where you're chaining "XP earns" together, gets DRed fast. It will tell you earn X XP, but only 0.5 (or 0.04!)XP will be added to your progress.
Can't have people earning too many bright engrams.

I always wondered why it was taking so long to get my 3 free weekly bright engrams even if I was ploughing through heroic public events every 5 minutes.
