Yeah Bor you were great. For somebody who is deaf what you do in the game is amazing,that's not meant in a way that is belittling but I rely on sound notifications a lot on games for me to react so to play a game with no sound and the fact you did raids with us all and completed them is immense. I remember the kings fall raid jumping across those ships . I found that really tough so relying on text and just what goes on screen was great.

I'm looking forward to how they can improve patrol mode as that became rather a chore with all the enemies being in the same places every time. If they could just have a variety of placements and routines (it doesn't even need to be a lot just 4 or 5 variations would be enough) would make the patrols feel more interesting.
Also they need to add more of the wars which kicked off near the shuttle on earth and be able to communicate better with random's not in your group to help coordinate large scale battles would be nice.

There's loads of ways they can shake up the patrol and hopefully with this dropping support for ps3/360 they can get around any limitations placed on patrol by that ageing hardware.

Hmm, first expansion end of 2017? Seems too early. That better have substantial content because the the first two expansions were jokes.

You're right, especially considering what they were charging. I had a lot of fun with Destiny, but they're going to have to offer a much better value proposition for me to invest this time. I think if D2 vanilla has the same level of content as Destiny The Collection, then I'll be happy.

Maybe I'm being wildly optimistic but the fact that they've brought in extra developers to help and have the live team now should hopefully mean the dlc packs are a bit more weighty this time. I also have a feeling they've learned that just doing the content drops and bugger all in between isn't a great way to go so hopefully they have lots of smaller weekly or fortnightly events for the pve crowd.

yeah i think they have learned what they need to do. Luke Smith who did some of the best content in Destiny is leading the raids and extra content in Destiny 2 and they have 2 extra developers on board to assist with the armour,weapons and just generally all the loot design which frees up the main team. They also have the live team who will keep on providing the free updates and events. Bungie seem to have all the right people in place now so i think Destiny 2 will start off strong.

Thought i'd update this for anyone who wasn't aware.

On May 18th there will be a Destiny 2 gameplay reveal on Twitch here https://www.twitch.tv/bungie , this stream will be showing off the PS4 and PC versions. I'm not sure of the time but if its anything like the other Bungie streams then it will start at 6pm BST. Bungie have also invited a lot of gaming sites and content creators from Youtube such as Planet Destiny, Mr Fruit,More Console,Arrekz and the Destiny Community Podcast people . Yep , really intrigued what they have done with destiny. I know the 360 and ps3 held the game back a fair bit but to what extent we don't know. I'm not sure what changes I want as well as I still love playing destiny even now.I guess overall a more streamlined story experience and then when it comes to end game , more loot ,options ,customisation ,perks. Some good in game clan organising and options would also be good.

Things I would want:

- More than one hub location at launch
- a loot system that actually makes sense
- better story integration
- more distinct class abilities
- a personal space, be it a room or your ship

I'd love an actual medic class.

Going to have to disagree with that Peter. I think that would fundamentally change the game to something it isn't. What is good about the class system at the moment is that everyone is pretty much on the same level. Barring the specials, everyone is equal. Adding a support class would mean a medic would mean changes to what makes Destiny, Destiny. You would be forcing people to make someone a support class as it would become a necessity to gameplay.

I can see most happening, but the one in bold will not. Raids are in and will be endgame content or at least some of it. It's been discussed on podcasts already by bungie employees and is a big draw for the hardcore players. The only way they can open it up is by doing matchmaking which could be good but also be an absolute nightmare at times much like other mmo's but i'd welcome it and some kind of search functionality in matchmaking.

20 mins to go. Get on twitch and search bungle to watch. I know there was around 150 thousand viewers just for the rise of iron reveal so this should be even bigger.

- A monthly subscription

Dead serious. It's the only viable way to keep providing MMO-level content updates.
