Haha, cheers anyway Joer. We had that slightly awkward thing where we only had four people in orbit, and were just twiddling our thumbs a bit.

Ended up well-stocked for people - KommissarBoris played (and still only got rubbish drops) and JNR150 gave guidance via the party chat, then joined in when Boris' mate had to go.

I actually got the Hard Light exotic autorifle for my efforts - is it any good?

Mr Pattybean - thanks for your messages, sorry if I bombarded you with invites, but I'd been led to believe the invites weren't working. I think you messaged back when we were in the thick of it.

Anyway, we got there in the end. Cheers everyone for the help, it felt like a big thing to us (and I realise people do it repeatedly for fun now, but while we were learning it felt really tough!)

Congratulations for finishing your first raid! Raiding is probably the best thing in the game when you're with a good group. It's great to have to learn tactics and know you're actually important in what you're doing and having that added pressure on you. Now on to hard mode and Crota.

What primary would everyone recommend for taking out oracles on Atheon hard? I was using a maxed out Abyss Defiant but it seemed to be taking a clip and a half to actually take them down last night.

@joer - Atheons Epilogue, my set up for vog hard is that + fully leveled ice breaker.

Just got a Hawkmoon from the Nightfall

Bah, I've just seen the post about the Thorn bounty...I'm at that stage too. I'll be on late this afternoon/evening, happy to help anywhere. Day off work 8-)

Got to say the online "finder" is good, I entered my details and a few seconds later got a party request and cleared the Nightfall and a few others with some American lads who knew what they were doing. The difference in loot is astounding, coming from someone who's played mainly crucible and Roc strikes.

The Iron Banner is back and is even more pointless than usual.
This time he has boots and gloves and some crappy guns.

From the iron banner, the impact is INSANE. And the default one has range finder.

No way am I grinding the same gooseberry fool for 11 hours to get a shotgun though. Especially when they'll expect me to do it again when the next expansion comes out. And they haven't changed ANY of the bounties or added any more maps. It's so strawberry floating lazy. How hard is it to switch the bounties up a little bit? Or change the game mode? Or maps?

I never got why the couldn't add in new bounties. Just SOMETHING to change things up bit. The fact some of you are still playing this blows my mind :lol:
