Wasn't that bothered about the film when it was announced but dam that trailer was pretty good.
Realistic Pokemon still look a little odd though,

You know how there used to be those posts on facebook like "these realistic simpsons pictures will haunt your dreams"? This seems very much like that. Some of them work. Pikachu is growing on me, and Snubull looks alright, but Psyduck is straight up nightmare fuel.

Apparently, one of those artists who has done a "realistic Pokemon" line of images was hired on to work on the film.

He’s ace. Glad they didn’t just go with his original art for the film though. Maybe the horror spin-off.

I don't think the horror realistic Pokemon art would be a great fit for the tone of the universe they've got built. Be a bit jarring really.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Ryan Reynolds seems to have been perfectly cast...as the voice of Pikachu.

I'm so in for this, Cinema and 4K Blu-Ray guaranteed.
