Up to Prague and the Aug/Practice section - it's not really gripped me either so far.

Really enjoyed the three hours I spent with this last night especially after I got out into Prague. The checkpoint side mission was great.

Yeah it takes a while. I've just finished the golem main mission bit and it's kicked up a notch.

I think I just need to stop buying stealth heavy games, I really don't enjoy them

The whole goal of stealth games is to interact with as little as possible, I don't really fine that engaging.

Played through the intro twice yesterday. Once on stream with K&M, once via Gamestream with a controller.

Something was strawberry floated with the mouse controls from the off. Moving a millimetre would rotate the view like 180° so I had to ramp the sensitivity down to like 10% or something. But it was still using some weird acceleration that made it feel like garbage. And the keyboard controls in general are pretty archaic. Using the F-row for heavily used actions is something I thought we'd moved beyond. The pad controls (which I switched to in Prague) seemed much more intuitive and better tuned, so I started from the beginning in my living room to go learn all the functions and menus.

Performance is... really strange. The game sits at 57-58fps at 1440p Ultra, but doesn't get any better when I dial down most of the settings. All the way to low on all but 1 setting (screenspace reflections) still goes along at 58fps, but dropping that setting with everything else on max jumps it to 80fps. I don't get it.

Yeah I'm rather tempted to switch to a controller even for the PC version. Normally I'd swear by Keyboard and Mouse, but using the F keys for powers is a little awkward, especially if you wanted to use them while on the move.

Can you not re-bind them?

I was just pleased to see a numbered inventory bar along the bottom of the screen, I'm sick of bloody wheels.

Jensen is dull as strawberry float isn't he? And the "acting" is very dramatic.

I've done the tutorial mission and some side missions around the hub and this isn't really grabbing me so far.

It gets better maf, once you start digging into the main missions and venturing elsewhere. I found it quite boring for the first 4 ish hours.

I'd agree that the previous one started better, but I do get the impression that this is going to ramp things up once you get past the initial hand holding stages and get to the actual story. Right now I'm faffing about with side missions and got the guy pestering me to hurry the strawberry float up.

Yeah, its become a lot more interesting.

Infiltrating a gang and trying to kidnap a bloke for some other gang. The sneaking never gets boring.

Yeah opening hasn't grabbed me too much - and the first side mission (forgery) was laughably easy to sneak through (so small).

Looted TF29 blind though - really hope they're secretly bad guys cus otherwise they're alll out of software, meds, Neuropozyn, guns, ammo and booze.

After selling loads of Neuropozyne I've looted from pharmacies because the inventory told me that was the only reason I should collect it, I've just discovered you need it to unlock some sidequests. :simper:

On the plus side I have 20K.

Have they fixed the mouse acceleration. I can't really be bothered to play this until they fix it? Other than that the game runs good on my 970, got everything on high with most options enabled.

Was watching jiggles stream this on PC a few days ago and the mouse acceleration looks ridiculous

strawberry float. I found a stash of 7 that I then promptly sold off. Better start keeping the stuff then.

Had my first crash today as well. Got on a Metro and the game just hung completely on the loading screen until.

 I guess not then :P Hopefully it'll be fixed next patch. I just turn down sensitivity to 6% atm and knock up my razer mouse driver dpi a little.

Edit they've fixed the mouse issue, well they've added separate bars for x and y sens. So 50/50 20% fixed it for me.
