It is a little hammy though, I can't help but roll my eyes every time I hear about the Skeleton King. I loved how far away the camera is, which possibly sounds like a strange compliment, but everything these days is much lower and closer to your character. There's a charm to isometric design, particularly the environments. I didn't get very far, still in the first act at around level 10, but after putting on that ring you get for linking your Battle.net account I feel a bit invincible. Things rarely seem to hurt me. Was very excited to get wings, watching the videos SoK had been posting, I wanted wings too!
I'm not sure about levelling merchants up though, do I concentrate on one, or level them all up? Is there a limited time to kill those loot Goblins or can I leisurely bash them? I got some lovely kit from one.
Unless you're playing in hardcore mode, you have nothing to lose (not even a trophy or achievement -if achievements are the same across platforms) in bumping up the difficulty. You're rewarded for it, actually. So if it's getting too easy/boring bump it up a level for quicker levelling, better quality loot and an increase gold/other drops.
