I think the people in higher places have a lot more to worry about than wading in over a pair of strawberry floating shoes though.

Most people were in support of the concept and idea but what an epically dissapointing and mismanaged mess it has ended up. Done correctly it could and should have been spectacular.

The Dome and London Eye being two examples of temporary or ill-thought out projects that you now couldn't imagine London without.

I think it is a case of it has been left so long "To save money" that is now going to ake considerably longer and cost considerably more. It is a nice case in point that austerity and putting stuff is worse in the long run than taking the initial hit.
