The main one is that discussion, analysis and satire of a GE or referendum must cease on TV when the polls officially open and remain as such until they close. This was most notable last year when John Oliver had to be delayed on Sky Atlantic.

Ah, I see. Thanks!

It's one of my all time favourite films. This has nothing to do with the naked scenes of Vanessa Howard :shifty:

I had never heard of this so gave it a watch, its bloody hillarious

I just watched this film and I have to say it's amazing, depressing and sad it is that this film still seems hugely relevant today. Honestly, you wouldn't have to do much to update it.

So it looks we're definitely going to have a referendum next year about changing the abortion laws in Ireland.
Probably ends any chance of a general election this year as well.

What's the driver behind this? making it more or less liberal?

More liberal. How much more will depend on how the rest of the votes the assembly take part in this weekend go.

"In every community , you get people who are rotten and people who are great. It has nothing to do with ethnic or racial background"

I agree with the sentiment, but this isn't really attached to any policy. So it's kind of confusing why she bothered to write it. I'm guessing it's because UKIP are basically a dressed up racist part, but there are far better ways to write those statements.

I've read it a few times and I still don't get what "every class should have a classroom and not get moved around," means.

It means that students would be based in one room all day, instead of having to walk to a different room for different subjects (French and Maths say). I'm not sure how that would work when kids started studying for their GCSE's though.

She means that you have a classroom and don't get moved around. I assume from that she means that you shouldn't be split up into sets and you should stay in the same classroom with your class. You shouldn't have science in a science lab, Art in an art room and swimming in the pool. Everything should be done in the same room. Sounds simple.

Worse, it's French and German. It's actually meant to be quite a humane method of execution. Although I'm not in favour of the death penalty.

Nothing says humane like the psychological trauma of knowing your head is about to be severed from your body.

Any country where the Death Penalty is still a thing has no right to call itself civilised.

Alright the death is less painful than other methods of death penalty, then.
