He has been hopeless, fake remain during the referendum, told everyone to vote to trigger article 50 now and let May do what she wants instead of saying "we should fight to ensure it protects those that need to be protected", whenever may does some banana split arse thing he spouting about some other non issue instead of taking her to task over her being a banana split.

He is a useless strawberry floating idiot.

I agree he was fake on remain and it showed through but I feel he had no choice but to support article 50 and uphold the referendum result. As for taking her to task, he has done exactly that but it doesn't get reported. The press and media both have an agenda that wants to see another Blairite/Cameron style leader and that is what they are pushing for. They tried the character assassination style reporting and it failed, now they are trying to take him out by not reporting on his actual actions at all.

I dont read news papers or watch the news, however I have been following him, the labour party and a bunch of the shadow cabinet on Twitter, if they are doing stuff then why are they not shouting about on Social media.

Can you point to places that do report his supposed great deeds? Where did you find out about them?

What actions haven't been reported on?

How do you know about his actions if they're not being reported on?

I do not get the left's love affair with Corbyn. I can appreciate the desire for a left wing voice in British politics, but Corbyn is just not very convincing and that is being gentle in the extreme. He's hardly a dynamic speaker or a towering left wing intellect. And McDonnell is an embarrassment to the Labour party. And all of that is before you consider the sheer folly of being the permanent (and weakening) opposition.

Jeremy Corbyn: No.

Corbyn: ... Thank you for your question.

Right out of the Trump playbook.

Back to the Donald Trump hand book once more...

Shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry told Sky News earlier today that voters in Copeland had been taken in by false news reporting and that claims of Jeremy Corbyn being anti-nuclear are "fake news".

Labour campaigns chief Ian Lavery told the BBC's Daily Politics 'The attack, whether it was Stoke or Copeland has been solely focused on why everybody should get rid of Jeremy Corbyn.

'In fact Jeremy Corbyn is one of the most popular politicians in the country at this time,'

I reckon that's true by most measures. He has more twitter followers than other MPs etc., and still has a very vocal core fanbase.

But that's more down to being simply more well known than other politicians than anything else. Of course Jeremy Corbyn is more popular than John Smith MP for Arsend.

Jeremy Corbyn being anti-nuclear is fake news? Isn't he very public about being anti-nuclear?

Pretty sure that was clear well established fact that he is anti-nuclear.

Labour  :fp:

While it is funny, it would be nice for us to have a competent opposition.

According to the corbynistas like Momentum they are starting a grass roots movement that will reconnect with Labour's heartlands. Well, how's that going for you? Miliband, you know that 'Blairite' guy who was so terrible and out of touch with ordinary people, held Copeland. Corbyn lost it. Make of that what you will.

Edit: wrong constituency

I agree with that. It's the Labour MPs that have made Corbyn have that low of an approval rating.

Yeah it's got nothing at all to do with Corbyn being a useless sack gooseberry fool that people don't want to vote for.

What's he done to be considered "a useless sack [of] gooseberry fool"?

I personally don't care how popular or unpopular he is; I hope he's leader at the next GE so I can see his party manifesto, the thing that really matters.

That said, I get a lot of people vote on GEs like it's a popularity contest.

He hasn't done anything.

That's why he's a useless sack of gooseberry fool.

We have a Tory party with a fairly slim majority but it certainly doesn't feel like they are ever under threat of not getting policy pushed through. The responsibility for that falls squarely on the shoulders of the leader of the opposition.
