I like playing in a group but the game itself just feels too quick and as a beginning character I seem to have zero chance in a one on one against anyone who's higher level. I also think the game desperately needs a medic class :shifty: .

Medics make everything better.

Did you mean to post in the Titanfall thread?

Is this not the titanfall topic?

I call shenanigans as someone must have moved my post as I'd never make such a basic mistake.
Trump was right and everything is rigged against winners like us :x .

2x Nvidia 1080 sli
16GB ram

This happens if I put the game on to low or ultra settings. I suspect it has something to do with it being a modified version of the IdTech 5 engine which was a piece of gooseberry fool. The first Dishonored was using Unreal Engine 3.

Why on earth are you running 1080s in SLI...insane setup.

"Fairly powerful." I just don't get this. My i5 6600 and 1070 runs everything perfectly at 1440p. Why on earth do you need that sort of power? Even at 4k, that's some serious overkill.

Depends on what performance you're trying to hit. If you have a high refresh rate monitor and want to play at 4K maxed out then it's not really overkill at all.`Even hitting 60fps at 4K on a single 1080 on high or maxed out settings in some games is a stretch.

The take away for that though is that it isn't really possible yet to do that (4K at 144+fps), not lets buy two 1080s, because for the vast majority of games its not going to work and its basically a waste of money.

Like you say even 60fps 4k is a stretch, the take home should be that the tech isn't really there yet.

I suppose if you've got money to throw away there are worse things to do with it.

strawberry floating brilliant. Update didn't finish before I went to bed last night. Now I get home from work and my wife has invited her mate and a bloke she's trying to set her up with to dinner. I have to be 'sociable' as a result.
May finally play this game tomorrow.

:fp: :x Didn't do pause/resume d/l trick after initiating PS4 D2 patch download. This meant when I got back to PS4 a few hours after leaving it in sleep mode, the download was still showing 3 hours to complete. This despite the fact it had already downloaded 3 GB! Did pause/resume and that fixed it. Should get a quick go on it in 10 minutes time. I hope.

Bought this on DVD as my internet is shite and thought it would cut out some of the download. Nope, 32gigs are slowly winding their way down my 3meg broadband.

Still, the upside is that the performance fix patch may be out by the time I get to play this!

I will be holding off, far too many complaints about performance issues.

I'd wait for the patch for the pc version before purchasing this game. There's honestly no point right now as it's not in a playable state. Unless of course you're willing to test out different 'fixes' and spend a few hours experimenting with the in game graphics settings and graphics driver control panel options that will likely only alleviate said issues to an extent. I really thought Arkane would deliver a spot on PC port like the original. Hell knows why this came out in such a poor state. Maybe it's the Void engine being based off of id tech 5, but I have no idea tbh.

...and my policy of not pre-ordering anything is vindicated yet again. Fix your game Bethesda, then I'll consider purchasing it.

If everyone refused to pre-order you can bet this gooseberry fool would stop happening. There's no real incentive to make sure your game works properly on day one if your customers have already bought it.
