I've been watching a few vids about the game and... it looks pretty good 
. It has an Animal Crossing-type of feel with multiple characters and activities that you tackle on a daily basis. Of course, being Disney, there is potential for a huge range of characters, clothing and items to be introduced and I'm keen to find out more!

* Not really. I was an Xbox fan throughout the OG and 360 era; and it was 50/50 as to whether I went with PS5 or Xbox Series this gen. I just happened to find a PS5 in stock first!

They charge people to test a bare bones alpha release, before making the game free for everyone when it's complete?! Isn't that... backwards

Yeah, it's pretty much a beta release; but if you were to spend out on a Founder's Edition, you get in-game currency plus items (clothing and furnishings) that are exclusive to founders.
The game seems to have a lot of content already, though - take a look at some of the previews on YouTube to see more
