I picked this up for PS4 and, having played the first stage, I love the sheer style of the game. I recall "the internet" getting a bit heated about Ninja Theory's characterisation of Dante in this episode but, to be honest, I struggle to see why, really. It's loud and brash - something I'd usually shy away from - but I so like the force of the game. It's bold and a wee bit bolshie... but all-out fun.

A couple of nights recently I have watched Jazzem stream the game live and it has been excellent entertainment. The vivid colour, raucous soundtrack and wild action has proved to be a memorable diversion. Bravo, Jazzem and Ninja Theory!

It's the best Devil May Cry game of the entire series.

Oh blimey, Tragic - you've started something now!

On Jazem's stream the common opinion was that DMC3 is "the best". But, yeah, I like DmC :) .

I try to give DmC high praises whenever I can. I know I'm in the minority but it's my strong belief that the majority are just plain wrong on this one. I love the original and 3rd games and 4 was okay. But the reboot was a step above them all in every aspect.

D'aww, glad you're enjoying sir! Your enthusiasm for the zaniness in chat was contagious :toot: also I'll steal "wee bit bolshie" for everyday use if that's okay

And aye, having finished the series now I'd go 3>4>1>DmC>2, with 2 being the only game I dislike. Just a bugger that on PC it's still only the vanilla version of DmC, especially odd as 4's special edition got release there.
