What was the exact question he gave a LOLZ answer to? And what was that answer?

Also, how long till it's on Youtube?

John Suchet said, not wrote:Which creatures live in Hives?

DML said, not wrote:... Beagles.

:fp:

This even beats "Alien".

Herbi wrote:whatever he got microscope from.

What was the question for that one?

Q: What was the first....

A: Microscope.

Just random bits of electricity firing off in his brain and in a blind panic they found the word microscope and sent it hurtling out of his mouth.

And there's no way in hell it was seagulls, where the hell did that come from.

Seagulls rhymes with beagles.

EDIT: If it was "Beagle", we have to give him a Snoopy avatar.

World's biggest bird of prey? Albatross
Oldest Racecourse called Roodee is where? Bristol
What flying animals live in hives? Eagles
The first what appeared in the Barclays bank in Bristol(may not have been Brizzle)? Microscope

I think there were others too.

He had no chance there though as he buzzed before the guy had finished the question.

If they stopped doing Family Fortunes with strawberry floating celebrities, DML could go on that.

And bring back Dennis, while you're at it too.

You could take all those answers, randomise them, put them back with the questions in a different order, and they would still make about the same amount of sense.

Well - that was a disaster!

I apologise for getting all your hopes up and then delivering a shocking perfromance like that, but I least I entertained you anyway. I knew halfway through I was in real trouble, and my game of 'second guessing' that worked so well in the practice just fell flat on its face.

Theres no excuse for my performance as it was pretty diabolical - but I was up against a former Blockbusters Champion, a 15 to 1 Champion, and a MasterMind Champion. Half the time I was buzzing in early on questions I knew I knew nothing about and taking a stab in the dark. However, on the old 'eagles' thing, I didnt know thats what I'd said until 40 minutes afterwards, and I never even knew they'd said hives or anything of the sort - just think I kinda lost the plot!

In the practice, I came third, qualifying in third from the first round by beating the former Champion, and then went on to get 3 right on James Bond, which wasnt enough against the other two getting 4 each. The standard was so high, and I was just trying to get any old edge - I think if they'd have accepted 'Moose' it would have been different, but thats how it goes. They couldnt have picked a worse selection of subjects for me in that first round, every time I didnt think it could get worse, they'd pull out another one! 'Classical Music' etc, etc!

Either way I had a nice if frustrating old time, John Suchet was lovely, and the title should read 'but actually got a mug', because thats all I won!

Sorry to let you guy down and not give you an epic, but I tried my absolute best - you need some luck, and I (the poker player in me) couldnt grab a single edge today. Never mind. Thanks for all supporting me, its always really nice to come back to message of support, even if half of them are inventing new memes on my awful guesses!

And with that, its over to Cube to up the notches up a few antes with his Total Wipeout appearance. For now at least, the Quiz Quest judders to a halt once again.

Don't worry, fella. You did entertain, and you've just guaranteed another year of forum memes! Very few of us would have the balls to go on a quiz show, so congrats for even making it on.

What's next?

Did you go up to John Suchet & tell him that he's been great as Poirot all these years?

Yeah, hard luck DML. Although you lost the plot later on it was clear from an early stage that the others were pretty gooseberry fool hot contestants. The questions didn't favour a younger quizzer either. It was entertaining though!

the old show used to be 30 minutes long, didn't it? This one seemed so dragged out, I was quite glad you went out as I was able to stop watching it!

Seriously it's a tough gig, I wouldn't go on tv for love nor money so kudos to you. I was laughing quite a bit as well so thanks for that. Keep up the good work.

When is cube doing wipeout? That should be so fricking funny.
