I've often wondered if animals can hear music. Do the notes that sound nice to us, sound nice to them? Or do they just hear noise and think nothing of it. Birds are known to sing, and often their songs have similarities to human songs. What do you think?

If the frequency is in their hearing range, yeah. But don't know about if they hear it as a rhythm - thought I heard of some studies done into it though.

I don't think they can hear harmonics and 'understand' or 'interpret' music like we humans can.

Birds, generally, are masters at imitating sounds. In the street where I used to live there was a bird that did a perfect imitation of the 'incoming text message sound' of Nokia phones.

That cat keeps going back to playing B throughout the video and towards the end is even seen to be snogging the B while playing D which means that cats can be controlled through the use of B minor . If someone had come along and played an F# the cat would have seen that person as its master and who knows what could have happened then.
