I have got a job interview/assessment tomorrow in Manchester followed by another one in London the next day. Can't wait for it to be over. I just don't feel like going but I'm sure I will be fine once I get there.
I was fine when I applied for the jobs but I dunno why i feel so down about it now :/

Usually hate them. My last interview was for a Christmas job a couple of months back, and at the end I was told I was unsuccessful because the interviewer 'couldn't see me working in retail.' That particularly grated, as at the time I actually had a job in retail (it was just in the wrong city).
The interview for my last 'proper' job was great though. Literally couldn't have gone better. Oddly, for that one I almost didn't even bother turning up as I didn't think I was good enough for the job, and I went in not really caring how it went as a result. I walked away at the end just knowing I had it in the bag.

me too. I feel lucky that I got these tbh.
I think i feel down because I dunno much about the career these jobs lead to, if its suitable for me, if i'll enjoy it. Fear of the unknown. As I have no hands on experience in these fields and I feel like I am possibly half blindly walking into a job.
anyway i may learn more during the assessments so can make a better decision about them if i get any offers.

I think the best thing to remember is they're not there to trick you or make you feel bad* - they just want to see whether you'd fit in. Ultimately they have to pick someone out of the candidates, but if they don't that isn't necessarily a negative reflection on you.
* If they are doing that, you don't want that job anyway.

Never had one. Unless you class me asking my current company what they'd give me if I said I'd come work for them.
I'm a commodity, apparently.

I have to give a 3 minute presentation on a topic of my choice without using any slides.
180 seconds is nothing...i dunno how i am gonna talk about something in just 180 seconds :/ I am still thinking about it and havent written it down yet. But I have until wednesday.

You can fit a lot into 180 seconds if you use the time wisely. But considering you haven't prepared anything and the interview is in less than 48 hours, I predict that you're going to spend 160 of those 180 seconds saying 'Um... um..'.
Get to it man, get preparing. What jobs are the interviews for?

Nah generally strawberry float them up.
I had one the other day for a fantastic company, but just choked on some of the questions.
If only I could know in advance what they would ask so I can prepare myself.

While that is funny, are you only not allowed to use slides? Using a prop like a Walkman and giving a demo/talk about the comparitive advantages compared to other players or something similar might work? Unless it's a job at Apple
If it's something you're comfortable with, falling back on knowledge if your mind goes blank is easier.
I got a job going on for 20 minutes about the Rules of American football for beginners, with diagrams and handouts for a presentation, I guess the preparation impressed them more than the subject.

Thanks doing a pptx on why i bought a Sony walkman sounds like a good idea. Since all the info is still fresh in my head. Then I could compare it to the ipod and suggest why I think Sony will dominate the MP3 industry to audiophiles etc hence making it business related even though it said a topic of your choice.
sorry but its Too late now I already started my pptx and I have nearly finished writing it up. Don't need to use any slides so I am just writing my speech up and targeting 400 words. Since its normal for a human to speak 200 words per minute.
Can't wait for this all to be over tomorrow afternoon then Im going straight back to my home town
i hate travelling.

Surely a pptx counts as "slides"?
