I have been on a whole bunch of forums , I am signed up to this and two others but one of them is totally dead dead it was largely about 5 people keeping it alive in the end so its not surprising, the other Retrocanteen I still posted on right up until joining here, since I have joined here I have been trying to get involved here and its pushed me to go up a gear with my SNES reviews so I don't really find time to look elsewhere but I think im fitting in here alright so at the moment im not too worried.

There's not really anywhere I'm super active on, but I browse a select few subreddits and have profiles on AOTY & Goodreads. Honestly, (S)ONM is the only place where I really tried to integrate into the community.

I frequent a roleplaying forum I don't really roleplay on any more and a torrent tracker forum where I don't torrent anything, it's just the best place to talk about the music I like.

I was a regular on ONM, LLC, various other spinoffs (LoL, PrisonRules, etc), and I was an admin on the ONMix/3mix/4mix trilogy.

I actually do vastly prefer Era's standard of discourse to here. The strict etiquette means it's by design a much more inclusive and respectful environment, and I think that's a good thing. I genuinely find GRcade pretty embarrassing by comparison sometimes.

It's a community-led board here at the end of the day though, I'm not going to force the issue.

I think GR's more like the chat you would have amongst mates where occasionally you joke about strawberry floated up gooseberry fool without it really mattering to the world at large. I'm sure most of us have said worse when hanging with friends.

I post on a few Metal forums, because I still love that sort of music. But it's quite rare in all honesty, they are usually not that active. I posted on Penny Arcade ages ago, but I found it really cliquey.

I also used to post on Ultimate Guitar when I was much much younger. I got banned a few times for flaming people. I kinda grew out of that site when I realised the other posters were younger than me. I felt like a total paedo.
