Just Fire Emblem Heroes. Really enjoy the game a lot.

Everything else failed to keep my attention.

Nah not really. Even games designed for touch screen do a number on battery life when I'm not at home. I was big into clickers for a while though. Egg Inc is good.

Ive recently started playing Polytopia and its a good little Civ lite. Its 100% free to play, no ads or anything, the monetisation is on extra civs, you start with 4 and new ones are 99c (theres a couple of special ones that are slightly more). One tiny drawback is that you need to own a civ to play against them so it you want to play against 7 civs you need to make a couple of purchases, therefore bigger games are behind a paywall. This isnt a huge problem though, theres plenty of enjoyment to be had from the base game and they never badger you to upgrade, the option is there if you want it but it can be entirely ignored if you dont.

The actual game follows a civ like structure, you start with one city and one unit, you have to explore, take over neutral villages, research new tech, build stronger units and take over the map. Its all warfare, theres no diplomacy options, you just fight the opposition but theres a decent level of depth to the fighting, theres ranged options, naval units and units with special abilities. Well worth looking into if you like a bit of strategy and are looking for something on mobile.

I played that for a good while and enjoyed it, would probably still be playing it if they had diplomacy options as well as just combat.

I've been "playing" Seaport, which is port-tycoon "game", worth checking out if you like that sort of easy resource gathering/management structure, plus it's got LOADS of different ships you can use as you slowly upgrade your port. I've got a fleet of 10 ships at the moment, all still in the Mary Celeste sailboat era still, but eventually I'll be getting into steam engine territory :datass:

I installed that at the same time as Polytopia, played it for about 5 minutes but then immediately went back to Polytopia nad havent touched it since.

Ill go back to it when my love for Polytopia fades away.

I'm currently playing Star Trek: Wrath of Gems, which is a Trek themed gem matching, character collecting battle game. There are three game formats and three game modes, and it goes across TOS and TNG. The loot drops are fair, I feel like I'm getting premium content without giving them any money, which is nice.

Also playing Bacterial Takeover, which is an idle clicker, but has a fun achievements system and mineral collecting section.

I have a couple of games on my phone; Pandemic, GTA Chinatown Wars (unplayable on a touch screen), Hitman GO and a few others. I can't say I really play them all that much though. I actually have £5 credit on the Play Store and there are a few games I wouldn't mind getting but I know I wouldn't end up playing them because of the format so I don't bother.
