I just can't game in the day. I have strawberry float all to do today but switching a game on isn't going to happen. It has only happened since university started though, I always feel I should be doing something else.

I find that more with films. They are just so much more atmospheric and immersive at night. Does apply to games to, but not to such an extent for me.

It's just a growing up thing really. I also remember playing video games for ages literally I could survive on the same games for ages like Yoshi's Island , Super Bomberman and various other classic games literally hours on end replaying them out of existence out of having to many hours of freedom and lack of responsibility. But as you get older and have more responsibilities and get more socially adept to the World and bigger things seem more appealing like cars , girls women.Games are still fun to play but in conjunction with various other social activities.

Don't get me wrong I can still play video games for long periods of time like online playing Gears Of War 2 on horde. But I also find I either have to have a terrible day were I'm bored shitless and feel like gooseberry fool or feel really happy and full of energy to play something. But If I have loads of things in my mind then no way would I play a game I just can't concentrate. I rarely if ever play a singleplayer game twice or as much as I used to the only exceptions being Ninja Gaiden, God Hand and Arkham Asylum. I used to start files do the game over again even though back in the day there never used to be achievements. As Bob Dylan said The Times Are A Changing
