Sorry, why are there also potatoes in the fridge?

Stick a bit of apple in the bag and store them in a dark place. It stops them from growing eyes.

Maybe you're buying bread that's been on the shelf of the shop for a while before you buy it, because bread doesn't just go off in two days.

And no, I don't keep mine in a fridge.. that's strawberry floated up mayne, there's a breadbin for that.

I do sometimes. It keeps it fresh. If I know I'm not gonna bother having bread for a few days, I'll whack it in the fridge. Or if theres one of those 2 for 1 offers, I'm not gonna simply leave a nice loaf to go bad while I eat the other. I fail to see whats weird about it.

I bought some the other day - it was reduced (near its sell by date) so i whacked it in the fridge. Kept it daisy fresh!
