I freeze mine before it gets opened. After that - bread bin. Although now I might try putting it in the fridge.

It might just be the ASDA smartprice sawdust then.

It doesn't taste any different out of the fridge than it does in the bread bin, plus it saves people nicking it when they get in from a night out.

How many people do you think have pantries? In most terrace houses they were removed to make way for the bathroom.

Why would anyone keep bread in a fridge?

How does putting it in the fridge stop people from nicking it?

I keep mine in a cupboard and have never kept bread in a fridge.
