I've got no problem not checking my phone when I'm doing something else.

I keep mine on silent without vibration, as I do wherever I am.

On but silent no vibration. I have 0 issue leaving my phone in my pocket the whole movie

Yes because it's pretty much the only time I power cycle it and that seems like a good thing to occasionally do
