The Rising was the start of it all, the catalyst, if there is no Easter Rising there is no Republic. I thought I'd simplify why it was on the shirt rather than going into symantecs and derailing things.

I wear one, but I prefer the days when it was an apolitical sign of rememberence for the war dead, like the tomb of the unknown soldier. I hope the nationalists don't succeed in hijacking it.
