I've read it's 30fps on Vita, 60fps (w/occasional drops) on PS4.

Reddit sez: noticeable frame drops on Vita when bosses do special attacks.

Plays well enough on the vita. I'd rather have it on the vita, going away next week and need a handheld game to play

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, The Apprentice S18
RACE | Devizes Half (April), Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

I haven't even started the download on the Vita version :( Mostly because it hasn't been turned on in a bloody age. I think only P4G or a VN will make me go back to it at this point

Made a start with Hugo Fact after beating the game with Yunica.

He sounds very much like our own Hugo.

He's a massive jerk! And so is Hugo Fact. (Written tongue in cheek and without any malice.)

This took a little turn in the story which I wasn't expecting.

Those playing Hugo and not enjoying him: his abilities pick up midway through Guilty Fire. I'm in Blighted Blood at the moment and he is kicking arse  Though Mantid just got his own back handful of times :x

How difficult are these? Are we talking Dark Souls/Bloodborne level or something more like oh, I dunno, killing Bambi?

On a side note, I've only just understood your Avatar/forum name Saint. Been watching Preacher this week and it makes sense to me now! You're one mean badass ain't ya! ;)

It shows me that price when not signed in.

As for the bosses... in a way they can be as hard or as easy as you want. If one is giving you a particularly hard time* you just load the game back up, grind on the last set of monsters you encountered and you'll be in better shape to face it.

*They're pish when you know their patterns. Except for Mantid. strawberry float that guy.

Whenever I check out the Activity Feed on my PS4, it is filled with entries of SoK playing Ys Origin  . Saint is a one-man Ys machine!

No doubt. But as with most bosses they're pish once you get used to their patterns and weaknesses.

It's just too, too good! However I think it's only fair, that, given all the praise I send its way, I also highlight when it falls short of the lofty bar it set itself.
So y'know how I mentioned it ran super smooth on PS4? Well...

If you can't watch at the moment: the game basically went into 1 FPS mode. Upto then I hadn't seen a hint of slowdown, not even when the screen is filled with enemies and weapon and spell pyrotechnics are going off. So I really have no idea what went wrong there.

Oh and, I'm *still* ranging about this even though I later beat it:

Bought this on Vita following SoK's recommendation. Better be good. I paid £11odd too

Also bought FFX/X2 remastered and Vagrant Story (old PSP version) too.

Once (if) I finish P4G then I've got hundreds of hours worth of RPGs to play!

Oh, for some reason the Vita version doesn't have the additional PS+ discount. I wonder if it's cross-buy when purchased on Vita... it definitely was for me when I got it for PS4.

SoK's marketing ploy has worked.... KingK is on-board and - breaking news - NBK has joined the ranks!
