Yes. So lets hope we get an explanation as to why Missy doesn't remember.

Do we know how much time has passed for her? The Doctor certainly has form for forgetting things after significant time has passed. That said you'd think she would remember something as significant as this!

I don't think so. She just turns up in Dark Water (and the glimpses before that) and its left very open. That then doesn't even include the gaps since then.
Hexx wrote:There's also the fact Simmaster seems to know what's up with Missy's rehabilitation...hence him actively trying to derail it...

Yeah. I guess that could just be a case of him working it out from what was happening in the higher part of the ship. He might have heard the bits about it being a test for Missy. I don't think its really beyond the ability of the Master to work that out even with the time speed difference. Maybe even Bill said something in the years down there.

Do we know for certain that he is an earlier version of her? Could be that she regenerates into him?

Ah I'd forgotten about that. Doesn't mean that she's not an earlier version though, does it? Has she specifically referenced stuff that she did as either Jacobi or Simm?

Well I'm almost certain she has to be a post Time War one. Seeing as Jacobi is The War Master and Simm follows on the only place she can be is post Simm (if post Time War) and she clearly recongnised Simm at the end and the former Prime Minister line. If somehow she is an earlier version then that means that Simm has forgotten which possibly makes even less sense.

Maybe it will end up being that the Doctor wipes Simms memory of what happens in order to try and give Missy a clean slate and do good thing in the end. Whatever that is.

Also I kind of hope that we don't find out quite what Simms Master has been up to since The End of Time. Been thinking and I'm sad that Smith never got a Master story. So it would be quite nice if they didn't make it completely clear that this was the first time the Doctor had seen him since then. Just for future audios. :shifty:

With time travel there is nothing that can't be explained by Simm being an older version. Why doesn't Missy remember? I'm sure they can come up with a billion reasons!

Please don't suggest that. The Tennant fan girls will be screaming again. :dread:

At this point Simm has a very nailed down timeline. Is born again - goes to Earth in TARDIS (which is stuck) - Becomes PM - Gets shot by wife - is reborn again by cult - eats a lot - makes everyone look like him - vanishes with Time Lords.

Don't remember some of that happening.

He was Paul Dacre, then he was Simm, then he was Missy. There may be an in between stage we've not seen.

I had been thinking that one of the most Master things he could do would be to somehow force the Doctor to look like him when he regenerates. So the Doctor always sees the face of the Master looking back at him.

Nah uh. My Dad works at the BBC right, and it's going to be Kris Marshal. But then he's going to team up with the 11th Doctor as his companion. I met them both on a set tour my dad arranged while they were filming a cross over with Bonekickers.

Nah, Marshall was going to do it but BT cut him off and he never got the phone call.

I genuinely think that would amazing. Him facing off against himself. Perfect actor to pull it off as well. I mean look at his range!

I love John Simm. if he was the new Doctor somehow I'd lose my gooseberry fool. That would make me so happy.

"Lucie, there's a lot of darkness out there. Some of it where Orbis use to be. But you know something? We wouldn't notice any of it if weren't for all those pinpricks of light. Planets and stars and that's where I go whenever I feel sad. The next bit of light in the darkness. Keep on moving. Never look back.

Well, hardly ever."

He's pretty cool. I've just done Prisoner of the Sun. Nice little round of everyone lying about everything

Alex Watch

Not dead yet. Lucie's just set up a big 2 part ending though

He's such a wonderful lost romantic. So passionate about everything. Optimistic to the point of melancholy. You've got a heck of a ride coming.
