Dat opening space scene :datass: . Pretty impressive for the time!

It may not have been wise to spend so much of the budget on one shot (although it gets reused at points) but it was a statement of intent by producer JNT after the cancellation/hiatus. This is what we could do if you actually gave us the money to do so.

I utterly despise Delta and the Bannermen. It's almost unrecognisable from an episode of Heartbeat.

Maybe I'm actually a sexist and unaware of it, but this just isn't Doctor Who to me. I wish the new actress the best of luck, but she's just not The Doctor.

I remember feeling unsure when that young, odd-looking guy called Matt Smith was revealed as the 11th Doctor, but then I ended up thinking he was fantastic. I initially hated the idea of Catherine Tate being the companion in Season 4, but I changed my mind there too. My biggest worry with this season would've been Bradley Walsh, but Doctor Who has taught me to go in with an open mind and give everyone a chance, so I'm excited and ready to see what this new team can do :)

Honestly I'm more concerned with the writers then any of the acting talent cast so far. Its not like Chibbers has a track record of cracking stories behind him. But then he is highly thought of by many. That and the new Sonic :dread:

The trailer looks ok. Its got some energy and fun to it but its also just not very interesting. Its pretty much the World Cup "trailer" made up off actual footage this time.

I really would love to meet the person who saw the reception the new Doctor has been given by a vocal minority of the public and thought "I KNOW LET'S MAKE HER SONIC SCREWDRIVER LOOK LIKE IT'S A G-SPOT TICKLER!"

Nearing the end now..... :(

The Happiness Patrol, Silver Nemesis, The Greatest Show In The Galaxy, Battlefield | Block start times- 19:00 | 01:24 | 07:49

Getting into proper 7th Doctor stuff though. :datass: The Happiness Patrol is fab. Silver Nemesis is the 25th anniversary story..... its a bit of a mess but pretty entertaining. Greatest Show is a bizarre delight and Battlefield is cool.

Remembrance of the Daleks would happen before The Happiness Patrol btw. A shame because thats brilliant.

Having missed some of the stories last night, today I enjoyed some Saturday morning Who! Matt was online, too, and we saw Silver Nemesis.
