Do you own any of these already? If not I wouldn't feel guilty as its a mostly great season. 2 of them are regulars in top 10 lists for the whole run.

Tonight on Twitch! What a set of stories! :o :o :o :D

The Robots Of Death, The Talons Of Weng-Chiang, Horror of Fang Rock | Block start times- 19:00 | 01:03 | 07:07

I cant really say much more then that. 3 classics in a row. Very exciting stuff! CORKS! :toot:

I think probably about 2/3s of all the classic episodes on DVD (some signed!), some of which I rebought after owning the VHS versions. The other episodes I've rented from the library and ripped to a computer so I have everything streamable around my home and in good quality with the discs stored in the dark in the loft.

I always wished they'd release the stories as "seasons" so that's my justification for this :shifty: however this season in particular has all of the big stories and so I have them all  I was just reading a review on amazon and apparently surround sound benefits from the audio on this release with minor improvement in picture through upscaling (but my TV is the nuts at upscaling low resolutions so I'm not expecting to see any improvement there)

...hold it!!!

I've seen Robots of Death... I watched it back in February through the GR Who Club. IIRC it was pretty cool. Will probs still dial in for this, though. I can't stay for all three storylines tonight as I'm gonna be up sharp tomorrow. Maybe the first two!

Todays Twitch selection-

The Invisible Enemy, Image Of The Fendahl, The Sunmakers, Underworld | Block start times- 19:00 | 01:49 | 08:37

An eclectic imaginative set of stories tonight. The Invisible Enemy is perhaps the strangest story since the Hartnell years. Fendahl is probably the last solid slice of gothic horror as the show moves into a new era. The Sunmakers is a witty story but I'm not sure its the most entertaining production and Underworld......... well. I've not seen this in a very long time. Mostly because its suppose to be gooseberry fool. However if you want to see what would happen if George Lucas made a 1978 Doctor Who the way he made the Star Wars prequels then its worth a watch!

I was alone for the whole night. :(

Tonight sees us begin the journey for the Key to Time! :o

The Invasion Of Time, The Ribos Operation, The Pirate Planet | Block start times- 19:00 | 01:19 | 07:38

Sadly not before a really dull story with lots of running around hospital corridors and some kitchen foil enemies. Still worth a watch for the way the Doctor starts this one off. Both Ribos and Pirate Planet are good. The later sees the Who writing debut of one Douglas Adams.

Dang :-(. I was out last night and, by the time I got in, I just went to bed, dude.

I've investigated and those three storylines run a 6-4-4 (episodes) sequence. I should be able to join for the start and watch that first storyline :-).

Oh! And I haven't looked too much into storylines the but I did notice that opening one, The Invasion of Time, features a much-anticipated companion... :toot: .

If thats who I think it is then the arrival happened yesterday. I'm working tonight so wont be back till later on. Hopefully I'll get to see all of The Pirate Planet.

You can catch the rest during the day tomorrow. :toot:

I've just watched the first episode of the "Invasion in Time" storyline. Cool start! I wonder who is "controlling" the Doctor?

I was a norman-no-mates on the stream, but it was still cool  .

I actually meant The Invasion of Time. I quite like The Key to Time saga, apart from The Armageddon Factor. That's just gooseberry fool and dull.

The Stones Of Blood, The Androids Of Tara, The Power Of Kroll | Block start times- 19:00 | 00:09 | 05:19

I really liked the Stones of Blood. Androids is a fun romp. Kroll is gooseberry fool.
