Had absolutely no interest really in watching this series, I guess I'd got bored of it. However I've binged them all in the last week or so. Bill is brilliant, completely different to what I thought she'd be like when announced. Nardole is actually alright, I presume he was in the Christmas episode as I don't remember seeing him before or any mention of a vault. Episodes have been mostly good as well.

Racist. By not watching you missed the chance to be in the thread title.

Not going to get to watch this till later tonight. Might even have to turn my phone off to avoid spoilers. Enjoy everyone!

Just watched Season 10 Episode 2, "Smile". I enjoyed it albeit I wasn't that keen on the emoji stuff. I am getting to like Bill; she seems to be a cool character. A fun, quirky episode although not really a classic. I hope to see episode 3 tomorrow :toot: .

That was ok, enjoyed the time difference thing. So this is a 'Genesis of the Cybermen' then, not really sure why John Simm is there though.

It really was. Loved it though.

What idiot thought it was a good idea to put the "It's a Mondasian Cyberman!" line and Simm in the trailer?

This, it would have been much better if we had no idea that John Simm was going to pop up.

Good episode though, very dark and I'd imagine a hell of a lot of kids are having trouble sleeping tonight.

Thought that was strawberry floating brilliant, can't remember the last episode that gripped me like this did.

Solid sci-fi premise, clever writing/delivery (without falling into either the convoluted or trying too hard traps that the show can often fall foul of), what seems like some genuine (and earned) drama/consequences, and to top it off I thought it had some hilarious lines as well. Bravo to all involved!

I've got some issues with it I'll go into when it's not late, not as good as Spare Parts. It was hurt a bit by the promo work (much like Dark Water was.) and I'm not sure where the story is going to go. I assume The Master came through the black hole and didn't want to leave the ship without an army of some sort. So has nudged the Mondasian colony ship to repeat what happened on Monday.

Bloody ironic after all that and the huff about the "Mondasian Cyberman!" line that it wasn't even actually a Mondasian Cyberman.

I'm almost certain Murray Gold slipped in the classic Cyberchime at one point.

Spare Parts audio on sale for just 99p.

Do this people. DO IT.
A firm fan favourite from Big Finish Productions is on offer for a limited time only! Get 'Spare Parts', the story of the genesis of the Cybermen, for 99p until Monday at 12pm BST

https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/spare-parts-200#utm_source=BBCWW&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_campaign=spare_parts

Or I will come round and kick you in the shins. Maybe even a few times.

My first two issues with last nights ep..... Why oh why did they give them the stompy sound? :fp: ERRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH. Also I struggled to get into the Doctor tries to make Missy good thing. Mainly that scene with the bacon. :dread: To simplify the past actions of the Master to eating bacon was laughable. We are talking about someone who has committed mass murder on the scale of billions of people. For gooseberry fools and giggles. I mean his actions lead to this in which an entire part of the universe gets eaten away.

Brilliant episode, just wish the Beeb didn't leak the Cybermen and The Sun didn't spoil Simm returning :fp:

But for 99p you could own it forever and listen when you wanted.
