Loved how bleak last ep got but then they went and ruined it with the usual Ah, but I was already one step ahead of you! BS.

Tonights ep is going to be edited because of the Manchester bombing.

It is the smallest of edits, just taking out the word terrorism.

editing out the word doesnt suddenly make it not exist though.

I always find this sort of thing a bit odd. But how long do you delay things? And that would force the whole series back because you couldn't just skip over it. This is much easier.

So Earth is now owned by the aliens?
I hope that means England now have a better chance of hosting a world cup.

This may seem odd but that touching the screen to control the computer that so many films and tv shows use pisses me right off.
Even with a touch screen you can't just touch a screen and magically somehow hack the internet as I just tried it and it didn't work. I touched the screen and wanted to become the internet hyperking and I'm still just sat here in my shorts without ultimate power over the internet.

How dare the internet defy my fingers :x .

Really?
Not, say,?that the high level dangerous bio lab had an unstoppable air filtration system that went straight outside? :D even with all the air locks and hazard suits in use inside?

Or that everyone just 'trusts' the Doomsday clock from the aliens trying to extort them?

Or that the images that the massive simulation making aliens show them are just trusted?

Or that they know Bill is the companion. It don't make the connection to her tutor with a 50 year tenure called the doctor?

Or the Magic consent beams?

And so on...

I want to meet their contractor

'Ok sir We've installed the high security air locks to the lab -they'll decontaminant and they lock in a crisis. The hazard suits are on order. Where does the air vent go?'

'Oh straight outside please'

'Ok...do you need an off switch?'

'I shouldn't think so'

Like places have never had design flaws. Besides, wasn't it that it was designed to take toxins out of the of the air and not bacteria? That they accidentally made a bacterial infection of some kind? So the air vents would have dealt with toxins escaping but not this new type of plant killing lifeform?

Anyway, I've had a theory on the Monks and I don't know if this ep strengthens or weakens it. Liking the look of next weeks. Got a kind of Turn Left style other Earth thing going on.

Well.... Its not a great one but....
My theory is that they are a front/disguise for the original Mondasian Cybermen. Firstly, they talk by just opening their mouths and if you think about it, underneath the outfit they must be pretty much husks. Tonight they even said they created the Monk appearance.

It would make sense that they want the Earth and that they would want to "save" it so they could take over the human race. Also by making it a peaceful takeover it maintains the most number of livestock for them to convert. They even said doing this was efficient. Get us all subdued and then farm us for the Cyberace. They need a new Mondas and Earth has to be it.

I know its not perfect and I probably wouldn't have thought about it if I didn't know they were coming back. But the visual design got me thinking. Doing the thing with the mouths just seems like too much for my brain to ignore.

Its just an idea and I'm jumping into a thread that might not even exist.

Also from the next time trailer

I think Hexx takes Doctor Who a little too seriously. It's obviously full of plot holes and silliness, but it's not a serious sci-fi show. It's about a time travelling alien who changes his entire body when he's close to death and who once towed the entire Earth using his phone box. ;)

I enjoyed that episode, although Bill was strawberry floating stupid at the end. Sell out your planet just so your weird mate can get his eyesight back? Silly Bill.

So he doesn't die in a massive explosion. Sounds like you need to take it more seriously and pay attention. ;)

The Doctor should have told her about regeneration and then she could have let him burn. ;)
