That's exactly what I thought...

The trainers, denim, and "POW!" patch make this look full 90s CBBC. Having said that, let's wait until we actually have at least a trailer. She could be decent...

We do have a trailer...

Unless I'm missing something else I'd say that was a teaser. The full on trailer with multiple rapid cuts of people looking various levels of concerned and showing all the bad guys off will say a lot more about the tone/quality of the show under the new showrunner.

I can't say I'm enthused at the moment to be honest...

It's like they were thinking of names and thought "what can we do that's a bit like Rey from Star Wars, um... Bill?".

It was only a short clip, and I know we shouldn't jump to conclusions. But let's just say I hope it improves.

Maybe she's from the '90s?

I'm sure she'll be fine, although I did think the reveal video was a bit "wacky". It is purely a reveal video though, rather than a clip from the new series.

The series itself doesn't start filming until May I believe, unless they've started early in secret.

I hope they sort out that afro hair as it looks odd and jarring - don't get me wrong, afro looks well funky when styled right, but that just ain't right.....

The Eighth Doctor turns 20 today! (holy gooseberry fool :dread: )

So Big Finish are doing sales on all his stories. Included in this lot is one ep of a Seventh Doctor story for free! (some timey wimey Nazi Nazi shenanigans)

At least give the free ep a go. Give yourself a taste of how good both McCoy and McGann are. Plus one of the more fascinating companions in Doctor Who. https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/klein-s-story-eighth-doctor-20th-anniversary-offer-1502

I'd be down for some 10th doctor/Donna audiobooks, but for each of those you can get 2 audiobooks from Audible per month. I've got the mountain of Dr Who audiobooks from the humble bundle a while ago, so I can wait.

Audiobooks are typically just one person reading a book, whereas these are full cast audioplays with music, sound effects and all that, with all the extra time and money that involves. I still think they're a little expensive mind, but they're also generally excellent.

You might remember I mentioned the Big Finish story of Davros's past, called 'I, Davros', with Terry Molloy as Davros. Well if you use the code 'handmines2015' you can get all stories for just £3 each here- https://www.bigfinish.com/offers/v/BBCDavros?utm_source=bbc&utm_medium=marketing&utm_campaign=BBCDavros

Ever wondered what the Doctor might look like in a SNES game? More specifically what he might look like in A Link To The Past? What? No? Why not? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE? Oh you said yes. No matter.....

Well thanks to yours truly this might well have been it. I present, Doctor Who: A Link To The Past.
