Him, Donna and Rory - the best companions without a doubt in new Who.

Donna is just awful, I literally considered stopping watching the show with her there.

I would agree that Bill and Nardol have definitely been the best companions we've seen for a while. Also Donna is an abomination and I too considered giving up during her era.

Nardol is annoying, but I find Matt Lucas irritating anyway.

Bill has been great so far.

Donna had her moments but was overshadowed by the legendary Cribbins.

Martha was never really given a fair chance and got screwed by the writing. Probably the poorest companion of nu-Who.

Amy/Rory were decent.

Rose was ok, but her family and boyfriend were annoying as hell. She would have been much better if she was an orphan.

Nardol is a lot less irritating than I initially thought he'd be. Same goes for Bill, actually. They're a great fit with 12 IMO, unlike Clara.

Amy/Rory, Donna and Wilf are clearly the best though!

I forgot about Clara.

I liked her, but it helped that she was so easy on the eye.

Clara was an irritant and was far too fixed on, Personally I prefer Rose then Martha followed by Donna but thats due to much prefering that era of episodes, for me the stories have been pretty meh since the end of the Tennant days.

Clara went downhill after her first appearance in Asylum of the Daleks, that dress though:

I see the companion wars have started again. Handles > all

I really like Nardol but I'm not going to miss him. Just isn't interesting enough. Look forward to Big Finish getting their hands on him though.

I honestly don't know how anyone could watch Fires of Pompeii, Planet of the Ood, Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead and Turn Left and not fall in love with Donna. She was amazing.

Nope can't stand her, the only good thing about her is she can't come back.

Had absolutely no interest really in watching this series, I guess I'd got bored of it. However I've binged them all in the last week or so. Bill is brilliant, completely different to what I thought she'd be like when announced. Nardole is actually alright, I presume he was in the Christmas episode as I don't remember seeing him before or any mention of a vault. Episodes have been mostly good as well.
