The Green Death was the end of Season 10 but in truth is was also the beginning of the end of an era. With Jo gone and the UNIT family becoming less regular times were a-changin'. During season 11 the production team behind the Pertwee years had decided to move on as well. All in the shadow of Delgado's death. Then Jon Pertwee would decide to leave the role as the Doctor, not before trying to get a pay rise mind, feeling the time was right after 5 years and having to deal with back issues. Season 11 would be his last. So lets have one last adventure with the 3rd Doctor before discovering a new face!

Story 12-

The Time Warrior

The Doctor, still working as UNITs scientific advisor, is investigating the disappearance of some scientists. But he isn't the only one as a young journalist is also on the case..... Meanwhile in medevil England a silver ball lands.

I’ve totally got out of synch with watching TV and reading... I have developed the attention span of a gnat. I like the idea of watching an episode or two of Who but my mind wanders within a few minutes. And then I feel bad for not watching it.

Jawa I know the feeling, I have had to start a couple of serials over but it's really worth trying to stick with it as it's a great serial that shapes the future of Doctor Who.

Do you have a copy so that you can catch up later? :)

Matt has lost his life source the salty tears of his Mario Kart Monday opponents, please Jawa don't make him sad he will be fragile until he gets a switch

Also as you are the life and spirit of the forum and coolest member Jawa please continue to be a part of Matt's cool crew 8-)

P.S. I have only watched half of green death as I have had a crazy couple of weeks at work.

I'll catch up tonight though and I already have the Time Warrior so might start that too :toot:

I just looked and Storyline 7 has been consigned to the bin... Matt did warn me, though! Ah well, I was probably never going to actually catch up anyway. I guess this is a chance for me to take a jump forward in the sequence!

He can feast upon the souls of those who didn't keep up with the storylines ;) .

I think it works rather like our Mario Karting, Grum. Matt and Hypes are Sith (Matt as Vader, Hypes as Maul) whilst we are Jedi (you as Luke and me as Leia Obi-Wan) .

The Curse of Peladon
Hmm. First one I've not really enjoyed. Couldn't stand the Alpha Centurai banana split or the whiny arse king.
Did enjoy when the Doctor called Jo a strawberry floating idiot.(May not have actually said strawberry floating, but definitely meant it)

Well filming for series 11 is now well underway. Including merky snapshots of the new Doctor in action.

The Daily Mail seemed to not pick up on the fact that Whittaker was wearing Capaldis costume. Instead preferring to describe the events as if writing a novel (probably an erotic one) "Clad in an oversized black coat, Jodie sported a large white shirt and waistcoat around her slender frame" they wrote. Adding "Her blonde chin-length tresses framed her face as she climbed through the wiring". At least the Sun worked it out.
