I have just read that The Android Invasion is a weaker storyline but the androids look wonderfully spooky so I may watch it. I don't know about The Brain of Morbius as a couple of hours is usually enough for me. I def won't stay awake for Seeds of Doom, even though I'd like to!

I'm not sure, I thought the 19th. I just heard about it myself but can only find a few shop listings.

Most of Who was a mix of film and video. Usually film on location and video in the studio. Industrial action forced Spearhead to be almost entirely on location so it was exclusively shot on film. There are bits and pieces from classic Who that could be made HD but most of it wont be. I've not looked into the BluRay release as I resent having to buy it all again for probably a tiny enhancement in picture quality. Same with the new Who BR re-releases. So I don't know if they have done this for any material that could be HD.

I know Revenge has updated CGI effects but thats the only one plus a few new special features. Having said that I urge you all not to buy it because of this one star review on amazon....

That logo does NOT belong on classic who products! Shame on you BBC!

Now that is a pity. I’d love to have bought this but as it’s been spoiled with that rubbish female logo I guess I’ll be saving my money.

Masque is pretty decent. Fear is good. Assassin is great. Evil is also really good.

It seems amazing that some folk seem to be suffering pain because the Doctor will take a female form in the new series . And then there are people who appear to think that the logo is female, too .

Anyway... that new series 12 set (first Tom Baker series) looks lovely! I have the new Who stuff on disc but not any older stuff. This Classic set is tempting.
