Mirror reports Class has been axed.

BBC say no decision made - I expect they'll wait to see how it does overseas/in America before deciding.

Shame if true - lots of potential there, spoiled by an odd 8 episode format (with some 2 parters) that really hurt it's pace.

Releasing on online only BBC3 can't have helped (and then odd, unpublicised late night TV showings much later). Feels like it was sent out to die. Nice cast/crew based on interviews as well.

Thats a shame if true. :( I thought 8 eps and the pace was fine. Mind you I was watching it whenever I felt like it. But the release online only was clearly an experiment to see if other shows might work that way. I'm guessing we wont see that happen again for some time.

I don't think the reaction to the concept helped either. Give it a few eps and see. I'd say ep 3 is the one where it started to click for me. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p048h1bz?suggid=p048h1bz

I don't know it had

Pilot
Ok-Standalone
Better Standalone (And Marlie )
2 parter (Return of the enemy that was here 3 weeks ago!)
Bottle episode that breaks the group up (after 4 adventures we see)
Quill Episode (amazing, but disconnected)
Finale (The team is broken, the enemy that was here 3 weeks ago and 6 weeks ago RETURNS AGAIN)

The "break up" for me wasn't earned to carry enough weight. Other than Charlie/Matteusz because THEY ARE THE BEST.

Yeah. Worth giving it a go at least.

I see your point Hexx. I do think the big bads are in it a bit too much.

Quill Episode (amazing, but disconnected)

Its worth noting that these take place at the same time

Why wouldn't I be serious? I didn't see it advertised anywhere and wondered if it was good when I saw you talking about it.

Is it still on iPlayer?

Because lots of the last 5 or so pages have been me talking about it to myself

Um...ok. It's not life changing or anything - give it a go and see. It's very variable, but 8 episodes isn't a commitment. While there's variance, there's no real stinkers in there. It's biggest flaw (IMO, disagreed with above) is it rushes itself. It's trying to have big impact moments (e.g. "the gang is tested" when we haven't had the build up/bonding)

And if you say anything bad about Matteusz you'll be in trouble.

I'm fairly sure it was meant to be on iPlayer for a year as part of it's BBC3 "experiment"/death sentence.

If I did notice Hexx talking about it or the thread title then I obviously just wrote it off as a CBBC Sarah Jane Adventures style bollocks.

I'll give it a go if it makes TWA happy.

I thought it was better then most of Torchwood btw. At least it was successful at trying to be what it was I mean. Doesn't mean you will enjoy it more exactly.

That episode is either going to be an amazing nostalgia trip or utter garbage. There'll be no in betweens.

In a show about mixed up time travel, I've always wondered why the monsters looks over the years never occasionally get mixed up. They all run sequentially along with The Doctor's look
