It’s been great fun getting to see so much classic who through the twitch marathon and classic who club.

All of your interesting facts and casting notes have really added to the experience

Thank you for running club who, I know you have created a few classic who fans in the process. I’m looking forward to the remaining club who serials as I have missed some fom six and seven in the twitch marathon.

Hopefully catch you at 19:00 :toot:

Just to say a whole bunch of promo pics have leaked for the new series. Includes some glimpses of the new TARDIS interior.* The BBC have been aggressively taking these down though.

*Cant really see much but my gut reaction wasn't a positive one.

Where should I avoid so I don’t see them?

I've basically stopped looking at any sources of Who info these days. I seem to find my enjoyment of the show is increased greatly by knowing nothing about what is coming, but also by steering clear of the echo chamber that surrounds any new information - it's easy to get caught up in the negativity around things.

Totally agree, Jen'. I do the same with films and games, too. The amount of "pre-launch advertising" that goes on now often means that you know virtually everything about TV programme/film/game before it launches; and you have plenty of folk slating it off the back of the advertising / previews. I prefer to try something out for myself if I like the look of it. In recent years the games / films that I've enjoyed most have often been the ones that I have avoided finding out too much information on.

[Back on track] But I am looking forward to the new Who :-) .

I only stumbled across them by accident on instagram but I doubt they will be on any Who sites now the BBC have tried to crack down on them.

They all looked like proper behind the scenes shots and full promo/stock images so I suspect they were most likely be released officially at some point.

You basically get to see a wall and then a mess of colours and shapes. But going off the design of the sonic and a few other things I have a pretty good idea of the vibe they are going for.

They already did this :shifty:

So it seems the interior has now leaked.... but the image has started to be taken down. However an edited version to adjust the lighting to match the previous leaked glimpse is here and its in line with roughly the vibe I thought they were going for.

WHAT THE ACTUAL strawberry float. So based on the Sonic and that glimpse before (plus the details in some of the promo art) I thought they were going for a crystal/steampunk thing and that looks spot on. However I didn't quite expect it to look like that. :| It's a bit like the 9/10 version but instead of coral they went with crystals and then had a plumbing accident in the middle. I suppose at least its not as bland as the last one but....... should probably just wait till I see it in action. But first impression is :dread: :| :dread:

In less spoilery news the new Who game, Doctor Who: Infinity has arrived on Steam...

I'm really interested in the stories and the art is fab but damn...... its £10 for a match 3 game. :dread: and potentially £5 for each other story. :dread:

That interior genuinely looks like a rejected set from the crystal maze or like the doctor impaled the console through the belly of a giant enemy crab.
