Pizzas are finger food designed to feed the peasants, you fold segments in half to not get messy. Not the plebs fault it's glorified into some restaurant nonsense.

I brush standing up, sometimes I wander around because it's better than staring into my empty soul and contemplating the futility of the life ahead.

I had a dentist appointment today, and because of this thread I tried brushing my teeth sitting down and it felt OK. When I went to the dentist, she said that my teeth were good. Therefore the professional verdict is that sitting down to brush your teeth is acceptable.

Same, though I've asked my missus to stop standing in front of me when I brush.

Doesn't anyone else stare into the mirror and have the occasional existential crisis? I try to avoid this. It's not that I find myself unattractive, I just become conscious of the fact I am staring at myself despite being perfectly capable of navigating a brush around my mouth with sensation alone. It's effort. Those few minutes turn into hours, days... :dread:

Yeah that's happened to me, nor often but sometimes. The key is to avoid looking at your whole face focus on parts, look at your hair, your teeth, but not the whole face.

You honestly can't stand and just brush your teeth for a couple of minutes without needing needing to wander about the house?
Are you hyperactive?

This is an interesting quote. We should use the information from the poll and correlate the data with our history of dental health.

Science.

Back in secondary school one of the teachers used to have burgers (in a bun) with mashed potatoes, cabbage and gravy, eaten with a knife and fork.

The nutter once had the cheek to chastise me for dropping a grape in my glass of water and eating it.

pizza is designed to be eaten with your hands. do you eat a sandwich with a knife and fork? :x

I grew up having them brushed sat down, but as an adult I will wander all over the house in my quest for my feet to not feel like they're itchy and on fire.

Don't think like that - you don't know if life is futile or not... you just know you're going to die one day, possibly alone and riddled with cancer.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm friends with Italians who refuse to use a knife and fork to eat pizza, even in more upmarket restaurants - they view it as the equivalent of the scene in Seinfeld when George starts eating his Mars Bar with cutlery.

I brush while on the toilet. Saves time, which means longer sleep in.

I can't imagine how bad toothpaste would taste with the lingering smell of gooseberry fool in your nostrils.
