PostDoes anyone want to help out a superstitious recluse with mental health issues?
by Rapidly-Greying » Sat Dec 23, 2023 3:20 pm

I'm unemployed, suffer from depression and severe anxiety yada yada etc (it's not about that).

I digress, its bad luck to buy yourself a calendar and I don't have anybody in my life to buy me one. I'm estranged from family and all that jazz that I don't want to go into here.

If anyone is gifted a calendar that they don't want or maybe got one free with a gaming magazine, and is willing to post it to me, I'd be eternally grateful.

I've not been able to buy a magazine with a free calendar this year due to finances so I thought I'd try my luck on here.

It's a longshot but I'm putting it out there.

Can't hurt to have a calendar in every room, can it? PM me if you still need one. Definitely can't guarantee it'll be gaming related though :) .

There should be a calendar app on your phone if you want to know what day it is

Thanks for the kindness guys. You've given me a wee bit of festive cheer. I maybe even put up a bit of tinsel so I don't seen I like a total downer.

I'm glad other people offered to help you out, because I'd have sent you this.

That's hilarious bud. If you were only joking about having sent me it I'd still love to see the other months as that is comedy gold.

I just searched for "weird calendars", but there are pics of the other months on Amazon.

I'll save that link for when things get real bad.

I am well aware that I'm not alone in my feelings regarding this time of year. I just try my best to block it all out and pray to whomever is listening that my neighbours bugger off and don't have any festive parties.

Everybody take care and remember that you are not alone, there IS help available if you want it.

A big thanks to anybody that sent me a calendar for their generosity. I'll send a personal message of thanks but I'd like to make my appreciation public so that others may applaud these lovely people.
