I may do the same... and it will seem new because I've never played it before :toot: .

Me too. I found it odd playing a platformer without a run button, so consequently didn't get that far.

Maybe someone more popular than me can co-ordinate a GRcade playthrough? :D

You know you can roll right? And that when you have 2 Kongs you can roll endlessly? Observe-

I'm not sure thats really the case. But its certainly got a better difficulty curve. Returns was a bit uneven in that regard.

I'm used to playing something like Mario with the run button almost constantly pressed.

Cue endless rolling off platforms to my doom in this one.... :x

Tbh it's probably from beating Returns that the difficulty seemed less in TF since I was used to the mechanics.

This is wonderful

Love the feel to DK (he has a great weightness to him) and the challenge and the graphics....but man, the music is just incredible. Just played Grassland Groove and I didn’t want it to end mainly because of the music. I’ve tirned the sound effects down a little so I can really appreciate David Wise’s soundtrack in full.

It's a really good game. Better than the first DKC game.

Just did World 4. The swimming controls are so tight, really love those sections, especially the music

Great boss too.

Flying through this, really don't want it to end. Will definitely be doing a second playthrough for collectables though.

I wonder if we will see a HD version of the first DKC Returns and a 3rd entry from Retro? I would go for a DKC: R 3 if they brought back the Kremlin’s alongside King K Rool!

I sold my Wii U copy a month ago in prep for getting this, not yet pulled the trigger due to he price but I really want to play this again

Literally finished DKC the other day and most of the way through 2, and I have to disagree, 1 is the best.
